Why aren't there Floorplans for rentals on Rightmove?

Exactly as the title says.

I don't think I've ever seen a rental house with a published floorplan. It would be really useful, especially if you're moving some distance and can't just 'pop over' and take a look!

You really can't tell from their photos. A house I knew was huge (all the houses in the road are the same more or less) looked really poky on there and one that looked a good size turned out to be a shoebox.

I think that they should really at least be required to supply room measurements, you don't even get those most of the time

Rant over.

Anyone else got the same problem?

    Money.

The agent doesn't get £1k+ in fees, like for a sale, to help pay for the cost of floorplan creation.

Most rentals appear to have only 1 or 2 photos, too. Same reason, I expect.

You get jack all on rentals... can't even separate house-shares from self-contained. It's shabby really.

Found that too... You see '4 bed house £325 pcm' and think either that's per room or it's falling down :rotfl:

A few have them, but not many, IME.

If the agents spent a bit more time (10 minutes) doing proper details, they'd find their jobs easier, less time wasted ... and, if they keep the property/landlord on their books then they can re-use them again. Even if they said "like this almost" .... they must often have several similar.

Well rental properties here in Scotland go so quickly, that's why there isnt many photos or any floorplans...

Some go before they've even hit the market, it would be a waste of time to bother with most of them..

Depends what you mean by cheap, I suppose!

£350/month .... which is why I don't actually have a flat at the moment... the robbin' barstewards all want more like £500-600. Local LHA is £470/month, so I don't stand a chance, unless I want to share a badly sub-divided house with bongo-playing druggies.

    This house

Has the most info I've ever seen on a rental, which is what set me thinking it'd be nice to have that for all the houses!

Unfortunately it's still expensive and I don't know what happened to the garden with the tarmac :rotfl:
