Can I ask how you got on a plastering course? Its something I would like to do very much

Check your local Chamber of Commerce. Mine do CSCS, Tiling, IT, Forklift and Plastering. Strange thing is though, they dont advertise the tiling and plastering, I found out about them when I was doing my CSCS. They told me they dont advertise but start the the course once they reach 12 people.. how they get to 12 without advertising I'll never know. I was also told I might aswell tile my own bathroom or something for practice as its as much use as the tile course they offer.

If you've been signing for 6 months + Cant you just find a course at your local college that you like and then ask the jobcentre if they'd pay towards the fees?

/\ thats what I thought BUT I rang my local college and they said they had no funding for people that had been on the dole OVER 6 months, but had for people under 6 months. Yet in their booklet it states for OVER 6 months anyway

I have witnessed a JCP staff member being told "I hope you get cancer and die" : inexcusable, IMHO. They deal with this sort of abuse day in day out, yet 99% of them still have their Customers best interests at heart. Please remember forum rules, and be nice.
