The job centre do not pay you, the job centre do not give out crisis loans,

this is the job of the DWP. (dept of work and pensions)

You werent arrested for making a complaint, you were arrested for
    'going mad' TWICE.

No, Jobcentre Plus is part of the DWP. The payment side of things is handled by the Benefit Delivery Centres. Try calling one and you would think the person on the other line has just had their soul sucked right out of them.

The reason they have had their 'soul sucked out' is because most of the calls are from people like the OP and are fed up with the grief.

Maybe people wouldnt need to phone up angry because they have no food and the electric is about to go, if some jobcentre muppet updated a system so somebody else can press a button to send a payment, really they could train monkeys to do a better job :)

Its not exacally rocket science making sure the systems are updated and payments sent on time.

Or would you rather people starve and sit in the dark so you can do things in your own time? after all its not like unemployed people are relying on the money and living off limited funds which are virtually impossible to stretch for a few extra days untill problems are sorted out ;)

From my experience all the problems I had when I was signing on was from the jobcentre staff failing to do their jobs, then its up to the delivery office to sort things out, and very good they are at that (must be all the practice) usually sending same day payments to my account.

Maybe if there was some kind of incentive for front line workers, like every time they stuffed up they would have their wages deducted by £20 which would be given to the person who had the problem, maybe that would focus their minds and get them doing what they are employed to do instead of standing around chatting for hours on end about who slept with who, who is the biggest backstabber, who joined weight watchers, how the new guy is fit etc etc

I was not arrested for being a nuisence. They put me on a course doing plastering at college and told me to find part time work which i wanted to do. when i asked for part time work they suspended my claim for two weeks. as in my job seekers agreement i must look for full time work. also i have a joint claim with my partner who is pregnant and they said she does not need to got to her back to work sessions as there is no point as she is pregnant so she never went to them. they signed her off for not going. I have served in the army so im not just a layabout like one of the comments says. Its solihull jobcentre. I did not threaten any staff but get called a racist word by security. one of your comments says they help us find work and give us free money which is a joke because they hardley ever pay us and have never helped me find a job once. I have paid all my tax since i was 16 and as soon as im unemployed they dont want to help me. I agree with their rules but they just stop paying me for no reason that is a joke. All jobcentre staff should be sacked i could do a better job than any of them

I was not a nuisence. I just wanted to get paid so i could eat and be able to look for a job which i do everyday. I served in the brittish army and should have stayed. the job centre told my partner not to got to her back to work sessions as she was pregnant and then shigned her off as she did not go like she was told. Job centre put me on a course doing plastering which i wanted to do and told me to find a part time job. when i asked for a parttime job at the jobcentre they suspended my claim as im supposed to be looking for full time work. I might aswell finish my course instead of trying to find a job that will last 2 months. I have always worked since i left school and payed my taxes and when it comes to me being helped they dont give a f u c k.

If they have put you on a course then why would they tell you to look for part time work, as in the agreement you have to state you are looking for full time work.Maybe its because you ask for part time work, you should of said nothing just accept what they advise you. They have suspended you for this and if you think you can do a better job than them, why dont you apply for a job at the jobcentre i'm sure they'd love you on their team NOT.

You really have no idea what it's like to work in the jobcentre. I can assure you staff press 'the button' on claims all units are checked at the end of every day and who ever 'presses the button' signs to say it was them. Any 'buttons missed will come off on a schedule a few days later and they have to be checked again and a return sent as to why is wasn't pressed. This magic button alone does not issue the payment there can be several other factors which jobcentre staff have no control over as to whether the payment gets released. Downloads from CTC, entitlement doubts, rating renewals I could go on and on.
Jobcentre staff rely on benefit delivery staff processing your claim just as much as they need us to press the button so don't be so quick to blame us.
You are taking about one experience compared to the millions across the country that are paid benefit every day. A computer pays you, the same computer pays all benefits it is designed and built by the government, it has faults it would probably work more effectively if it was a monkey!

I'm sorry but several things don;t add up. The part time work thing, to stop benefit the jobcentre staff have to raise a doubt with a decision maker, basically two sides to the story get sent to a DM you would of filled in some sort of form to put across your side. The same with your partner until she is within 11 weeks EDD she must satisfy all regulations. Her claim would not close because she didn't attend the session, again she would of filled in a form with the reason why and that form sent to the decision maker. If she is within her 11 weeks she wouldn't have a live claim, she would be on your claim.

I've actually had similar problems with job centre security staff.

I do work, I went in with my daughter who was signing on for her first time. I went with her and was just standing waiting for her with my son when I was asked to leave.. Now it wasn't very busy, I wasn't in the way, but was asked to wait outside with a bunch of drunks/junkies because I wasn't looking for a job. Needless to say, I told my son to go play with the machines and find mum a new job.

Roll forward 2 years - My daughter finds herself unemployed again. So she calls Job Centre on the phone, gets an appointment for 2:40 for her first signing on session, repeated it to me, I wrote it down. She goes to the job centre, to be told that her appointment was at 1:40, grrrrrr. So they tell her as she's missed her slot she would need to come back next Wednesday. However on checking the date, they had wrote Wednesday 10th August on the card. *Ahem* Luckily after the first time she had the sense to query it.

So whilst I'm not condoning people losing it. It's quite understandable for them to do so. Especially when they are making such basic mistakes like that :(

I am no fan of the job centre, as I have mentioned here before. The way they look at you like you are scum, security checking you, being incompetent in general and basically doing all they can to make sure you can't get a job.
But the OP here is off his head. No way can he make a complaint about this. He seems to have anger management issues and his story, combined with his appalling spelling etc, makes me think there is some substance abuse involved.
