Me too! But I am trying to be good and use the library more rather than buy books. I have to be careful though ... I am terrible for forgetting when books are due back and ending up with fines! Trying to get in the habit of taking books when I finish them rather than wait and take them all back at once... that way if I do slip up it is only on 1 or 2 books rather than 5 or 6!
I can't do without alcohol- I do like the occasional bottle of beer (the cheap stuff from Aldi or Sainsburys) or the occasional G&T (the cheapest Gin possible a tonic water 3 for 90p from Sainsburys). We hardly ever go out so this makes up for it!!

I can buy many things in the 'value' or 'own brand' range except tea. I will NEVER give up my Tetley Tea nor downgrade to any other brand!
I know its not really as a luxury, but as a student, Tetley tea and decent loo roll were the only things I would not scrimp on.How long til pay day?

For me it is the internet, though I'm not sure that is strictly a luxury as my husband needs it at home for his job (so we'd have it anyway). There really isn't anything else - I don't use my phone on a daily basis, we never eat out, we dont' drink, we dont' buy new clothes, our car is essential for work. My little bit of bliss is a nice deep bath. But we aren't on a meter and I dont' use bubble bath so there isn't really a cost involved in that.
Ohh I'm a cheap date, aren't I?!0 -
Makeup. I can wear cheap clothes and shoes, do bargain food shops and eat Value groceries, but I have to have quality makeup. Of course I could live without it, but I wouldn't like to HAVE to. Magazines. I'm slowly weaning myself off that addiction too.0

It might be worth checking if you can renew by phone or online - our libraries offer both these facilities. I also set myself a reminder on my Outlook tasks at work so that I call on the right day.0 -
