  • You dont have to have the Entertainment pass, or the Linen. We always take our own. There is no way to get out of the Service charge thats how they make the money. If you donr have children dont have the pass most are close to a local pub and you can go there.
  • heavensbug.....same here.

I originally paid £72 with Breakfree and now the invoice came from Haven and they wanted another £80 pounds! which is for 4 entertainment passes-although only 2 of us going, electricity-I wont be in the caravan for 99% of the time and then linen!

It does say on my invoice that it cant be changed.

Does anyone know if I can call Haven and decline the linen and take my own?

thought It was a cheap break, not what I thought:eek:

Hi you don't have to buy the entertainment passes they are optional but if you phone and explain there are only 2 of you they will reduce it to 2 - as we have done before, the same with the linen it is optional you can take your own or the price is per bedroom so it should be halved for 2 of you. We've had the invoice too for an additional £50.

I was told by one of their agents on the phone that if we opted out of the linen charge we'd need to take everything - sheets, quilts, pillows, the lot. Is this not true then? There's only so much we can fit in the back of our little car!

Also can anyone tell me, from their experience, whether it is worth us paying for the entertainment passes? There will be DP and I, and 2 children aged 5 and 3. Apparently you need them to use the indoor pool which we will probably use, and for the entertainment, but I don't think we'll be rushing to the cabaret of an evening...

We're going to the Presthaven Sands camp BTW.

Ring up Haven and ask, but when we did this last year duvets and pillows were included, the linen charge is just the covers.

If you want your kids to see the characters and go to the events on the day or pool then you will need passes, only under 5's need passes so you wont need any for your kids just adults

Let us know what Haven say :)

I haven't even heard from Haven yet. Should I be worried?:(

But I have had a confirmation email from breakfree...
