I know this is slightly off topic but having recently returned from a Haven break where we were inundated with Sun Holiday Deal Families and all of them harping on about how cheap they'd got their deal.I came home and checked on the website and for myself and my family.Theres six of us (four children and two adults) it didnt seem that much cheaper to me than booking through the normal booking process.Am I reading this wrong or is there some scam that I am missing out on cos one of the holidaymakers was wittering on about booking twice cos there was six of them and they got a better deal if they booked as one parent and two kids each time rather than altogether.Sorry to be a pain but this has got me intrigued now and if anyone can answer my questions its you lot. Thanks

Thank you for the above link - I've just managed to book a caravan away Mon - Fri, last week of the school hols for £62! There's a service charge and entertainment pass to pay for too, but still should be around £100 all in for four of us in late Aug/early Sept - Bargain!

We were going to go camping, but this works out not much more, and I don't have to sleep in a tent!

That's a good spot, what park was this for? Do you mean the last week in August school holidays? If so, that is a bargain as it's coming up £39 pppn for me?

It's for Coombe Haven near Hastings. We're going from 30th Aug for 4 nights! I'm lucky that my children's school have insets for the first week back, so don't need to actually be back in school to Mon 6th - so I guess this is technically out of season?

I'm chuffed to bits - better than camping, and the children will love it!

Doesn't this rather increase the risk of spending your holiday in close proximity to Daily Hate readers? That's a major drawback in my book.
