Yeah, it's been kicking around forums for a few years now, it's a cross between the t word and the c word, yet funnily enough it's nowhere near as offensive as them.
I remember telling a (now ex) friend about it when I first heard it cos I thought it was great, she disdainfully said there was no point, what was wrong with the real words. And she saw herself as a nice middle class cut above me...Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0 -
My friend (not on here) used it quite a lot when we were driving..............The worst cliques are those which consist of one man ~ George Bernard Shaw

The "T" word, I don't mind at all... it's harmless enough IMO, the "C" word on the other hand - shocking!! Hate it with a vengence.
I'm Irish so swear words don't bother me and are (I'm ashamed to admit) a day to day part of my vocabulary

My ex really hated the C word. He had no problem calling me a mother****** or anything else beginning with F. By the end I was using the C word quite a lot just to get to him. It really was a twisted relationship

Anyway, onwards and upwards, I'd like to invite you all to my birthday party in January, it'll be in Leeds but it'll be done on the cheap - bring your own drink and a contribution to the food, there's going to be a live band and a lot of other DFW'ers will be there. No-one has to decide straight away but I thought I'd put it out there now so there's time to save up/think about it.Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0 -
Thanks for the invite Ames - I'll be with you in spirit (probably vodka:D) cos you're a bit too far from me:( sounds great though;)I must stop procrastinating, I must stop procrastinating! promise I'll stop tomorrow OK:D
