Unfortunately most of that money was for THAT holiday which, although we went as guests, cost us a lot for kennels, travel, clothes and spending money, though we did clear two smaller debts with some of it. Although we could not really afford it, the offer of a holiday of a lifetime was too much to turn down
But from now on, all our moneymaking efforts are definitely going on the debts thoughMr 3Dogs 3-7-12

if i was offered the same holiday you were offered then i'd have done what you did - saved up and enjoyed myself as much as possible! i think the good thing is that although it was expensive and cost a lot in 'extras' (the clothes, the kennels etc) it has shown you that you can do the saving and selling part so maybe there's a little more light in the old tunnel
well done for clearing the 2 smaller debtseither you kept that quiet or i missed it!!!:o

Hi all, Handy's been busy again. I'm trying to finish off that little 5 minute job a mate asked me to do in the evenings.
4 evenings and £20.00 in petrol and I have to go back tomorrow. I'm down £15.00 on materials already, and I don't think I'll see a penny for it:mad:
Sometimes trying to help those that won't help themselves is expensive.
I would rather folk's tell me it's going to be a charity job before I start. I would still do it as I hate to see people stuck. But to find out that the broken door was in a rented property that the landlord won't fix because the damage was self inflicted. (Boot through panel cos keys were inside).
Stretches even my good nature.
Rant over, How is everybody. Busy day I see.:D
Cheers, handy.Mother Nature Don't Draw Straight lines, We are Broken Moulds in Life's Grand Design, We look a Mess but we're doing fine,
