I am not sure if these are fake or not. But pay particular attention to the perforation flaw direct behind the Queens shoulder, on both stamps there appears a slight groove on either side, this is not generally produced during print, it could be a faulty batch, but no doubt both stamps are from the same batch, as the coincidence would be too big for both stamps to be torn in identical places. Its possible they were a rejected batch that did not even get as far as the gumming machine.

Sorry to disagree Marley, but I've got dozens of sheets and books of stamps here in my office with that groove. The perforations go 12 dots then an oval then 2 dots, on all mine the groove is in the exact same place as these stamps.

OP the stamps look fine to me, the same as the ones I have here. I was posting something the other day with lickable stamps (not all are self adhesive) but they wouldn't stick to the package, just kept falling off. i had to stick them to a piece of paper then tape the paper to the parcel. What was your parcel wrapped in?

It's 64p's worth of stamps on a parcel that was successfully delivered! It's generating a fair bit of excitement.... :D

Yes, that's what I couldn't get my lickable stamps to stick to, it was a Royal Mail one too. It sounds like that's all it is.
