How can I find out which processor it has in order to download the correct driver?

These types of camera clones ofter have poor software but they only act as card readers anyway.

I haven't got any of my own laptops with me. I know how to record with it. It is hubbys phone and the battery has went dead and he doesn't have a charger with him.

THANKS! I have downloaded the driver and now the computer is instaling it. I don't have a different usb lead as it is a mini usb lead.

It is still showing the exact same error!

Not surprised , that's what these gadgets are like. I have an MD80 clone camera and sometimes my pc sees it but usually it does not. I only plug it into USB to charge it - I always offload/view video with a card reader.

Next time I am visiting I will bring one of my own laptops to see if it works.
