However many people advocate ignoring your financial responsibilities, think about the rights and wrongs of the situation. You didn't pay enough, so you quite rightly received a parking notice.

What would a decent person do?

Congratulations, LE, you've actually made it to 15 posts. Do you think you might make it to 20???

arh you have a Troll! LOL

More than willing to meet my obligations and send them the 20p their machine wouldnt take. Would be cheaper for them than sending me several letters....

I was wondering if the tickets are unenforcable if that meant you could simply park for free on private car parks! Blimey. Not sure I could be that cheeky though...?

Too cheeky IMO, do it enough times and one day a ppc will get fed up and risk a try at court. Normally they don't bother as they will not win.

Some of us do sometimes! Or just pay the minimum 50p so there's a ticket on the car but actually stay much longer! :D

But it's not the general consensus on here, if there's a fair charge for use of the car park then we would say pay. But we'd NEVER pay a Parking Charge Notice of course, that's a piece of rubbish.

Lurking Enforcer really makes us all laugh, he's a useless troll because his posts are just funny!
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Yeh I think so too... I couldnt be that cheeky! I dont mind paying for parking, I do object to having to pay £50 because their machine didnt accept my legal tender :p

Hey ho, being a total worrier I am sure I will be back for reassurance when the letters and calls come in!

You guys are great, thank you. Hopefully I can give something back by helping others at the end.

By all means come back when you get each stupid debt collector letter saying they 'may' now take the matter to Court or that they 'are about to' begin litigation.

And re your final sentence in bold - if you are so minded you could collect all your letters and take a scan or digital pic of them all in order, at the end (probably 6 months down the line). We like to show newbies examples of typical PPC threatograms on the thread linked below and we don't have RCP yet:

Thanks, hope you can add to our 'Hall of Shame' in due course with your letters! :D

Must be a quiet day at Scammers R Us for the staff to be playing silly beggars on here. Takings down Mr Big Tough Enforcer? Time to look for a new job.
Still waiting for Parking Eye to send the court summons! Make my day!

The 'rights' of the situation would be for RCP to send an invoice for 20p - their actual losses.

    You tit.
