hi
well i decided to swop £5 for clothing vouchers so i then bought the £12 uniform deal ...coat shirts and a pair of trousers used them along with a £2.50 voucher off kids clothes that was also included in my vouchers... so ended up with an extra 5op off my shopping and coat trousers and shirts ... bargain:j:T0 -

I called reward center to check that TV were included and after checking with line manager I was told they were included in deal. I arrived at our extra store and tried to purchase said TV and was told by sales assistant and stock manager that they were excluded items and not in deal. I was livid and I later rang rewards again only to be told that I was given correct info and to get store manager to ring up the store support center. well this went down like a lead balloon, still not allowed to purchase TV. well 11 phone calls and 2 visits later still no joy. HAS ANYONE GOT ANY IDEAS OF WHAT ELSE I CAN DO:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:
My sympathies, had a similar ch*ffin' runaround myself. Girlie at customer services said pay as you go phones online were excluded, only instore phones, they didn't have ANY phones in stock in hte superstore so I purchased the thing full price online for my daughters birthday.
Thought about it some and decided to ring the clubcard helpline ........guess what? PAYG mobiles are included, rang to cancel the original order but too late!!!! Customer services a complete waste of time, I really wish Tesco would do some staff training, the staff were having a good wee chat and swapping photo's of kittens for goodness sake!!!
Had enough and going back to ASDA!0 -

Thank you - I'm not at all phone savvy either but the reviews do help a bit. The Sony Erikson W595 looks a possibility.ELITE 5:2

That's the phone I just bought for my daughter(17), she loves it. Girly pink. No flash on the camera though!
I have to say, Tesco was very good on delivery + delivery free on mobiles, it takes the delivery off at last page when ordering.

I exchanged £20 in vouchers to £40 household & £10 to £20 for PAYG mobile. Picked up Babyliss Pro 230 hair straightners £39.68 and Phone £19.99. As i was near the electrical payment desk i queued there as someone was being served. When it was my turn to be served the girl said that I would have to go to the phone shop & get served there.
It was right next to where I was so off I went . Waited about 5 mins when a member of staff asked if I was being attended to . I explained that I wanted to pay for my items and was advised to their desk. He said that as all staff were busy at that moment, that I could go to any till in the shop and when I asked if it could be the electrical desk he replied yes.
Walked the 15 steps to the electical desk where there were no customers. Again explained to member of staff what had happened. Was told that I should really go to the tills at the far end of the shop but she would put the items through the tills for me this time.( Not said in pleasant manner)
At first I was just glad to be getting served but the attitude of the girl and the look she gave me, made me see red. I said "You know what, I'll just leave it. " As I turned to leave I heard her mutter !!!!!!. But I just kept walking.
I'm normally an easy going person and have never done anything like that before. When I buy phones, accessories and small electrical items I have always used that desk so dont know why I couldnt today.
Have cut my nose off to spite my face though as I'll have to go back tommorrow as I wanted the hair straightners as a b/day gift for my daughter. Will go to normal tills though and hope for best!
Apologies for the rant. Had to get it off my chest.0 -
I was behind someone today who was 1p short of the £20.00 double up receipt she was told she had to spend the full amount to be able to use it so she had to buy a bag for life.0
