Teabythesea, big hugs and welcome to the board. As Jo said we're a friendly bunch and can offer great pearls of wisdom on how to reduce the overdraft etc. Above all keep smiling and we're here for you.
Jo, not said anything yet. He's finding out more on Monday when he's back in the UK and going to go from there.
I'll keep you all posted, dont worry and I promise to leave the 'truth juice' alone too as I might say stuff that I could regret.0 -

Good point Jo. My brother's not impressed with him at the moment and I've got a feeling if my OH said the wrong thing to me in front of my brother then fists woudl fly!

Jo, good guess. The area the job is in, has a Uni so could do that but in all honesty nah!
It's very very very dark here. They predict a bit of thunder and lightening later, bring it on! :j
We did find it quite funny that we'd finally got ourselves organised and it was shut - in the middle of summer, school holidays etc, very silly!

Hello Tea - did you bring jaffa cakes?

LMC - Your OH must be in quite a state if he's willing to give up his job to come back - do you think he's suffering from depression?
Jo - Great news on the veggi plot, what are you going to grow?
My courgettes are an utter failure this year, any courgettes that do grow more than 2 inches long are rotting on the stalk....not really sure what's going on there. Picked in another 3 kilos of runner beans yesterday, must get round to blanching them later.
And I now have 3 ripe blueberries.

I was thinking of some herbs (not sure what is hardy?) and also some lettuce-y types, over winter onions, some bulbs for Crimbo pressies.....what do you think?
