Jo, not said anything yet. He's finding out more on Monday when he's back in the UK and going to go from there.

Good point Jo. My brother's not impressed with him at the moment and I've got a feeling if my OH said the wrong thing to me in front of my brother then fists woudl fly!

There's chocolate cake in the office, I may have to indulge!

We did find it quite funny that we'd finally got ourselves organised and it was shut - in the middle of summer, school holidays etc, very silly!

Jo - Great news on the veggi plot, what are you going to grow?

My courgettes are an utter failure this year, any courgettes that do grow more than 2 inches long are rotting on the stalk....not really sure what's going on there. Picked in another 3 kilos of runner beans yesterday, must get round to blanching them later.

And I now have 3 ripe blueberries.

had a lazy morning, didn't get up till 10, i've had my breakie and a coffee, and tidied throws and put washing machine on .

gonna have a shower then i need to get to the bank and put money in before 1 or a dd will bounce

not got much planned for today, apart from ebaying this evening

I was thinking of some herbs (not sure what is hardy?) and also some lettuce-y types, over winter onions, some bulbs for Crimbo pressies.....what do you think?

Do you freeze your runner beans, Pooky?
