iTunes v7 - Stuttering playback issue - Any ideas?

    Doesn't seem to do it every time I quit just every so often.

  • I had the stuttering in v6 and would lock my menu bar so im hopeing 7 will solve that. I have a good pc so will see what happens

    No I don't have an ipod. I only really use itunes to subscribe to podcasts. This again has only happened since upgrading to 7.0. I've tried reinstalling it but it does the same thing.

    You could try something like iPodder.

    Or if you want an iTunes equivalent, Winamp beats it in almost every sense. It's got an inbuilt feed reader, plus there are numerous plugins for added functionality.

    lol it just encountered the error again when I quit. I wonder if it happens only when I've got a track on pause. Think I'll listen to podcast in wmp now I've downloaded it.

    Installing Quicktime 7.1.3 if you haven't already solves a lot of problems apparently.
