  • well i took some advise on balif charges and have now sent them a recorded letter outlining the fees they can charge plus the origional 60 pound fine .. and have offered to pay this .. but i doubt i will hear anything ..

    If you know that any such arrest would be unlawful, then the person who threatens to arrest you (in person of course, not over the phone), and by so doing causes you to fear the imposition of unlawful force, is guilty of assault. If he actually lays hands on you, that's battery as well.

    He can then be arrested by you!

    OP, I think you need URGENT legal advice

    I would contact your local CAB office or seek a solicitor as this matter has already gone way to far than it should have been allowed too!
