:hello: Goooooood Morning Fellow OS'ers

I notice a trend in starting the Daily Thread earlier and earlier sooooo ... I thought I'd join in!
:rotfl:
Plans for today will be the usual mix of BN preps:-
Make some Bonfire Toffee and toffee apples.
Make and chill the hm burgers
Clean the free/foraged chestnuts and make newspaper cones to hold them.
Put mulled cider into the SC
Make Parkin in BM
 need to buy some Cointreau for the hot chocolate
Need to put the chicken/quails into a pet carrier in the utility room so the whizz-bangs don't upset them. Furbaby will [STRIKE]hide [/STRIKE]go under my bed
Gardens too small for a decent fireworks so we're going to go to an organised one at the local Primary School, they do a really good one each year.
Enjoy your Bonfire Night everyone

Thanks Queenie, POTM0 -
This is not my week.
Bought a pram / buggy thing a couple of days ago. Turned up yesterday...the frame is bent so it has to go back. At this rate poor little bean is going to be without her chariot. But we have until November to sort it all out....crikey its November all ready!
I've missed it all!
Also woke up this morning....had my cereal.....and promptly threw it all back up again. Now I feel like a 10 tonne truck has just hit me. All I really want to do is go back to bed. But it will have to wait. I shall have a nice relaxing bath tonight and will then snore my head off.
Partner is now constantly complaining at my snoring. Kept him awake for an hour or so last night. Personally, I don't know what he's talking about as I couldn't hear a thing.Baby Year 1: Oh dear...on the move
Lily contracted Strep B Meningitis Dec 2006  Now seemingly a normal little monster.
Love to my two angels that I will never forget.0 -
Fantastic Queenie - sat here laughing my socks off! THANK YOU!The reasonable man adapts himself to the world; the unreasonable one persists to adapt the world to himself. Therefore all progress depends on the unreasonable man.

Bonfire Night just happens to be my birthday!!! It's a brilliant excuse for a party. We normally go to an organised display and then come back to the flat for HM jacket potatoes, pumpkin soup etc. This year, though, I'm cheating. I'm going to reach the big three-o this year and am running away to Jordan for a holiday to hide from the fact that I'm now old enough to be a Proper Grown Up......... So, my OS preparations for Bonfire Night involve saving up my £2 coins to fund camel rides and hunting for sunscreen bargains. Well, you did ask!0
