Simple lemon and sugar for me! I used to like jam/nutella as a child but too sweet for me now.
I've had maple syrup with crispy bacon and pancakes before... Yum!0 -
Nutella, Lemon and sugar, jam but the best is..
Peanut butter, jam and banana0 -
Coconut yogurt and blueberries0

I like savoury pancakes the best. Spinach and ricotta, meat stuffed ones, mushrooms, pretty much anything savoury in a pancake.
.
Sweet ones, I like chestnut the very most I think'. I love the idea of the cherry filling. I make a berry soup for breakfast often, and this would be a good filling in the same vein. Lemon and sugar is a classic for a reason.
Edit: love the idea of coconut and blueberries too. I love coconut but wish they'd make a smooth one, I don't like textured yoghurt. I keep meaning to get round to trying to make one.....but thinking about it is as far as I get!0 -

I love savoury pancakes.
Brie and sundried tomatoes.
cottage pie mix, with added cubed potatoes (quorn mince for me)
ratatouille filling and cheese sauce topping.
When I did a catering course many moons ago we made a dish that consisted of 8 pancakes stacked into a deep cake tin, between the pancake layers was a layer of different fillings, it was then baked in the oven, tipped out of the tin and served cut into wedges with a sauce.
It was lovely but I have long since lost the recipe and it was one made up by the chef.0 -
I love savoury pancakes too, but our traditional Pancake Tuesday fillings have been the same forever: melted mars bars, bananas, cream, sugar, lemon juice.
We might have added raspberries or nutella or a really rich vanilla ice cream or chocolate icecream, but the core stuff is pretty much set in stone.I'm an adult and I can eat whatever I want whenever I want and I wish someone would take this power from me.
