Beauty therapy is another thing I would love to do so may apply for that as well-hairdressing is my first choice though.

You could always learn to do both (eventually) - would be a great range of skills to have. Especially with your make-up background and diet expertise too - you could be an all-round makeover person!

When he is in the middle of an 'affliction' its hard to make him see anything at all....as soon as they have done all the tests and he realises its not a real 'affliction' THAT's the time to suggest he books himself in for psychotherapy......although I wish the doctors would do it for me....

IM cross on your behalf Sammy as quite frankly they must be able to see there is nothing wrong with him...the amount of times he's there claiming he's dying of his next illness would set alarm bells ringing for me (if I were a GP/specialist). Makes a complete farse of it and the cost to the NHS and those that might be dying of said illness. Stupid Stupid dr's overlooking the help he obviously needs *gets off her cross soapbox on Sammy's behalf*

Oh I'd book into Bunnys whole body make over clinic. I think that would be a fab idea!

Sammy - Have you been to the Dr's with your OH? I wonder if that would help if you could make him realise infront of someone else that he needs some help.

    Hi Bun,
Sorry to hear about your job - it's happening to a LOT of people. As you said the revenues just aren't there so don't take it personally, f*****' irritating as it is.

I am retraining this year. I'm using a career development loan. There are certain criteria so I think google it and see what comes up. If you sort out a course for September and get it submitted nowish your timing could be perfect.

Check out several colleges not just your most local one. There are about 4 I could go to in the area.

Thank you butti-I have looked at the 2 within my area and hopefully I will be able to get onto the Fast TRack course. Now, just need to figure out if we could get CTC/WFTC etc to make up a wage! I feel ill...

I really do not want to just get another job just because its a job and then be unhappy.

Have called the police about my CSO job-I am all sorted now but they dont know if there is any jobs...bloody GREAT

    Big hugs for Bunny.
I got horrendously bitten in the garden yesterday without feeling a thing. Three huge hard lumps are the result - the largest behind my knee is about 5 inches in diameter and rock hard and bright red. It hurts. :(
Should go and mow the lawn but a bit nervous. :rotfl:
