Aye, it's a pity we can't do that with you, as your posts are generally made up of 'one liners' that have nothing at all to say. The above post being the perfect example.:D

I'm happy with that, if the alternative is reeling off the same factually incorrect nonsense time and time again, interspersed with an insulting tirade at someone, palming it off as banter when they complain, before being banned again. And again. And again.

I love the way people get exicted by these headlines whether they say prices are going up or down. I remember back in 2006 the Express had a headline of prices to double by something 2013. They are just trying to sell papers and I suspect its what their readers want to read so they print. Didn't one of either the haliwide economists say that it would be a few months before they would be able to tell the trend? Now all of a sudden without any quotes they are both predicting rises.

I'm sure though there will be those sellers now accepting nothing other than asking prices because they read it in the Express that prices are going to rise.

I've been out of the loop for a while, can you please post a link to a table/chart that shows that house prices are currently going down?

    Here you go :j

    Apr + 1.1%
    May + 0.5%
    Jun + 0.1%

    Apr - 0.1%
    May - 0.4%
    Jun - 0.6%

    Land Registry
    Mar - 0.3%
    Apr +0.2%
    May - 0.2%
    Jul + 0.1%

    Acadametrics
    Mar - 0.5%
    Apr - 0.7%
    May - 0.2%
    Jun - 0.5%

Should hopefully have another negative Halifax figure this Thursday and Land registry to go properly negative next month or one after.

I see all the bulls are gloating on a story with no substance from a public relations group paid by the building industry.

Hamish this is the 3rd time bulls published this story.

Two out of those 4 show a downward trend yea. The other 2 show stagnation more or less (with nationwide looking debatable). Will see how it pans out over the next few months I suppose.

If you combine all of those numbers you end up with a flat 0. It's almost strange.

Odd how the Express is a very respected source when they report the opposite. Anyone would think you're all massively discrediting yourselves.

    Again.

Not really. I've never thought the Express more than loo paper.
