cashback from mobile rainbow

Hi,
I got an O2 contract from mobile rainbow(unfortunately lookslike after seeing their feedback) with the starting day 25th may. The first bill is dated 6th june. Have got the cashback vouchers and the first one says to be used after sept. As the first cashback is after 6mths do i send the 6th bill which will be the nov bill or is may considered as 1st month?hence send till october bill.

i think it's your Nov bill, but don't quote me on that cos i signed up with Mobile Rainbow earlier, under a totally different set of T&Cs....in any case, the cashback vouchers you've received should have a schedule printed on it telling you which month's bill to send in

The cashback vouchers say to be used after september/december/march.
Hence a bit confusing as they do not give the date as when to claim the cashback

try emailing them for confirmation then, although, as most Mobile Rainbow users on this forum will attest to, they aren't the best at answering calls/emails

You'll have to send them the bill dated 6th November. I've just received cashback from them. My first bill was dated 25th Feb and I sent them the bill dated 25 July. They were 15 days late in paying so chase them if you don't receive payment within 31 days of posting by Special Delivery.

Hi MJMC and welcome to MSE.

I don't mean to cast aspertions but I must urge MSE members to treat a new member's word with extreme caution, especially given recent shenanigans with Mobile Rainbow and the fact that they haven't yet (in my eyes, at least) proven their ability and willingness to live up to their cashback promises.

For everyone's info, MJMC registered only today and, to date, this user's only posts are all in support of Mobile Rainbow, posted on a wide range of threads about either Mobile Rainbow or cashback generally. Alas, all too often these are classic indicators that the user is a plant, designed to falsely boost confidence in a much maligned company...I really do hope that I'm wrong in this instance.

Sorry if you feel offended by this MJMC but I'm sure you can understand that, where so much money is at stake, we really must give more weight to info supplied by long term contributors of the forums and treat users who register in order to post supportive statements with caution. It's nothing personal.

Hopefully in time you will be able to prove me wrong by becoming a much loved regular contributor to these forums as a whole.

Hi. I am new in this site. How I wish now to have found this one before I got into this mess. I own 2 phones (both on cash back). One from mobile rainbow and the other one from cool new mobile. They are both useless. I couldn't get hold of mobile rainbow, all their contact numbers seem to be not working. I sent them my cashback voucher recorded delivery 3 wks ago.
At least with cool new mobile I managed to get hold of one of their customer advisers. Can somebody please tell me what is Mobile Rainbow's working contact number/s? I would be very grateful. I have emailed them last week but there was no reply.

on their website they have a "dedicated" cashback hotline 0870-801-3651 , but i think the above freephone number should suffice

otherwise, a thread on a separate post stated 019 238 00000 - the number of the switchboard/reception of the building that their parent company Msols occupy.

A week after I subscribed with Mobile Rainbow the fraud department of my credit card company reported a fraudulent transaction of £950 was made by someone at mobile rainbow on my card. They had received numerous complaints from customers who had been the victims of identity theft straight after giving mobile rainbow their details. MR assured me that the problem would be dealt with. Now my first cash back is due I get this email:-
"We will definitely honour your cash back once everything gets under control.
We request you not to doubt our credentials ,as we are sincere towards our commitments.
We sincerely regret the inconvenience caused."

DO NOT TRUST MOBILE RAINBOW!

I've had my first cashback paid by mobile rainbow (although it was late) and have put my second in - lets wait and see.

i havent received my cashback.....they keep telling me it will be with me in 10 days and it never is......all readers should read this forum and draw your own conclusions
