Good morning everyone  I'm decluttering 2 teens later on. They're off to Austria for 10 days with the Explorer Scouts, and then DH and I go away for a few days on our own :)

I need to do some baking for them to take, and they need to strip their rooms so that I can do a deep clean while they're away :j

    Congratulations to the Pigpens!

I love the picture of Squeak Pigpen. She's gorgeous!

Winchelsea - What a challenging day, I hope your DH settles well. Your small kindnesses will make the world of difference.

G & B No surprised you are tired. Your poor LO she really goes through it. Hope she's not too uncomfortable.

Froddington - Glad your beloved team were given another chance.

I was a substitute midwife yesterday. I went to visit the wife of one of DH's workmates who is having terrible trouble getting her baby to latch on. Got it sorted in 20 minutes with a bit of underarm positioning.

RANT ALERT! It's shocking how maternity services have declined in the last 20 years. She had a C Section on Sunday evening and was sent home at lunchtime on Monday. A midwife visit Tuesday and then not again until Saturday. No wonder breastfeeding rates are falling, nobody shows new mothers how to do it.

DH is an idiot. I have to wait in today as the windscreen on his car is being fixed. Silly so and so has forgotten and now his car is parked at Stansted Airport and the keys are in his pocket in Central London. His office is organising a motorbike to get the keys to me. I will have to get the bus to the airport and find the proverbial needle in a haystack.

Don't think I'm going to get much flying done today. Mistresses was good last night - did anyone see it?

    Morning Everybody

Work again today but should be done by lunch time so my list is here

    Washing
Attempt to dry above but looks like rain all day here today
    Office tidy up and clean
    Kitchen floor mop
    Send card
    Declutter and answer emails
    Hoover up and down
    Water plants
Sort through a large paperwork pile

    That will do for now
    Have a great day all

    I'm just about awake. :D
Need to get dinner in the SC, get DW on, get everyone up. Hopefully it won't be an all day thing.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

Piggers Awwww .... Squeak is just adorable :A ... sending you all lots of love xx

Poohbear Happy Birthday .... if you are lurking :p :bdaycake:

I've had a really bad night ... my "man" in the USA who I absolutely adore ..... was caught in the middle of a tornado last night .... trees have fallen all around his house, the car has been wrecked, they had to go into the basement for safety  he has no power, mobile battery has now died after texting me the latest updates .... so I am anxiously waiting for news .... so any spare flylady prayers or vibes would be appreciated!

    Love & hugs to all

    xx

Although my mum's advice (she's a nurse) is to get out of hospital asap to avoid catching an infection!! The BF thing is odd, the mw if had at booking in when filling out the form said 'yes, you will breastfeed'...actually I really want to but I can imagine that putting some people's backs up. I am glad MiL is around as she successfully fed all 3 of hers and when my sil was struggling she helped her (it was as simple as not getting the whole nipple in the baby's mouth but no one had helped her as you say!). I really really want to bf and now I know another person (as well as piggers and a woman at work) I can call on for help!

I am working from home today. First thing I need to do is sort out a service I'm taking on Sunday, then get on with some work, boo! I will try and manage some laundry and tidying whilst I'm home too. Have midwife at 3pm.

Okay I'm still sorting out my clothes. I've decided that all the clothes I'd put up that I was hoping to get back into are going. I've found my old bras - I say old, they look hardly worn - 36/38C - they look tiny:o - don't know how I ever managed to fit in them - mind you I was that size pre-kids - DD is now 8!
