I have flashed through the thread - I just don't know where time is going...but I am getting lots done.

Beds stripped (unfortunately mine was necessary thanks to AF:o) and my bedroom was properly cleaned when it was all put back together after the painting on Tues - DD was a fantastic help and it looks lovely...I am putting my new duvet cover on today - just airing at the moment.
Been to ikea and bought stuff for classroom which I have taken over to remove it from house and also mended a cupboard catch having bought a replacement from our local 'old fashioned' ironmongers (I LOVE that shop) - 75p in there - same stuff in F***s was £3.00!

Oh and been to visit the NEW baby gerbils (with an emergency cage) ...we clearly didn't get mum and the old babies away from 'daddy' quickly enough - so 8 'old' babies have been removed to she can care for the 7 new babies...anyone want a gerbil or 2?

Having a quick tidy round too..

HHC (dining room for me!) anyone?

My homephone isn't working:mad:. Problem's apparently at my end so engineer is coming out Monday. IF anyone tries to ring us it rings at their end but not here so they either think we're not in or are ignoring them!

Need to go and fetch the kids shortly and then carry on.

That's fine rach - I was going to find the address for Breasttalk but I'll send them to you.

I'm not sure that it is worth sending bras there.

We raise money for breast cancer research by giving the bras we collect to BCR Global Textiles. BCR sell them to traders in third world countries to which helps support and supply their own local economy. This creates employment in poorer environments and allows the residents in these areas to make the choice as to what to purchase whilst creating viable local economy. When the bags of bras are collected from us they are returned to a sorting warehouse in West Bromwich and baled for export.

BCR Textiles pay £1 per kilo for bras collected and send a cheque directly to UK charity Breast Cancer Campaign. BreastTalk.co.uk does not handle any moneys raised

It will cost you more than that to post your bras to them. The charity would benefit more if you sent them a donation direct :(

Here is a link to some local schemes too ETA, I've tried the links though and none appear to work

It is so hard to know what to do for the best sometimes with these things.

Just got back from an exciting week's holiday last night. The campervan we hired had a hole in the petrol tank and when the alternator finally packed in yesterday morning in the Lakes it was an AA relay all the way home for us arriving back at about 9pm. Shouldn't think that any of the AA knights of the road/ general mechanics/ fantastic people who helped us get the van bump started over the past week will be reading this so would like to send out vibes of gratitude to all.

Anyway have logged on to see how Pigpen was surviving and....

    CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Really glad to hear your news and hope that you find a new normality very quickly.

Now where did I leave that duster?

    Afternoon, fellow Flyers.

Winchelsea I hope your DH settles in his new place, and is happy there.:o
    Happy Birthday Poohbear.:bdaycake:
Lady L sending be-safe vibes to your friend – a tornado must be really terrifying! Hope you hear from him soon.

I note that today's list includes sorting a cupboard... I'm going to be very brave and tackle my sewing box. It's the only thing that hasn't been sorted through since I joined Flylady. Wish me luck.... and if you don't hear from me again, you'll know there was something in there that ate me. _pale_:rotfl:
