What a lovely weight, means no SCBU

Evening all,
Congratulations again Pigpen, she's so adorable. I'm glad you're feeling a bit better.
I've taken Ds2 to OH's, been to Curves, picked up Ds2, and put him and the rabbits to bed. ( not together ) I now have to find pickle the teddy as he's lost him, i've already found big ted. No i don't he's found him.0 -
Congratulations Pigpen, she is adorable. I can't beleive how quickly she arrived, how long was your delivery? She is a fab size, how many weeks was she?
About to sort out a whole drawer of receipts and statements - joy oh joy.The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Pigpen - what a gorgeous girl your Squeak is!
Thanks for posting the lovely pic - I was longing to see her and feeling quite envious of those on FB. (I can't join FB - though DDs and DGDs keep telling me I should - I'd never get ANYTHING done with that as well to distract me!)
Hope you're feeling better - glad the kidney function is improved. I can see the Squeak name sticking by the way!
Yes, I did have fun with the firemen cally_c !
DH moved in to the nursing home this afternoon. Went quite well, despite a few episodes. People with dementia don't handle change well, so there are bound to be a few issues over the next few days. His room is quite nice, en suite, and has a view over the city. DD4 and I wheeled him out in the garden, which is lovely.
I went this morning to put a few of his little knick knacks in the room, including his favourite cushion. Washed the cover when I realised it was a bit grubby, pegged it on the line and luckily caught a sunny and breezy spell, so it was only a BIT damp when I put it in the car!
In all the sorting out I trashed the house though! Everyone has been ringing tonight to see how he settled in, so need to at least do one of my late night HHCs (before my rags turn to clothes or something like that!) Did tackle the bathroom before breakfast, so not a complete failure!Keeping two cats and myself on a small budget, and enjoying life while we're at it!0 -
Winchelsea - sounds like DH is in a lovely place. Hope he settles in well and that you are doing ok xx"There's only one way of life and that's your own" - Levellers

Winchelsea - it must have been a very difficult day for you. I applaude you for what you've done to help make his transition easier with the cushion cover and stuff. Give yourself a big hug and take one from me too. xxxI am the leading lady in the movie of my life

Evening ladies, i'm pooped! Been a long day, DD's surgery went well though. Hopefully she should get out tomorrow. Unfortunately her x - rays showed that one of the hooks/screws at the top has come a bit loose, and while it isnt causing a problem at the moment it does need replaced and that is a much bigger operation. Will probably be done next time she needs lengthened unless it causes issues in the next 6 months.
Piggers, squeak is gorgeous!
Hope everyone is ok, i did read the thread but my tired brain has forgotten it all:oThe trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0
