Have been out most of today at a Carers' event (good fun, good food, saw several people I knew, and was the MSE favourite - all FREE!)

Being quite new here, I don't know everyone yet, but being nosey (well, always interested in people - same difference I guess!) I'm getting there, so will send congrats to lav - rest when you can, and don't forget to eat all your iron-rich foods!

Hugs to all who need them.

My good news is that when I got back this afternoon I picked up a message from SW - DH is moving in to the nursing home on Thursday afternoon. I had been told nothing would happen until after a visit here re finances, but they've gone ahead anyway. Probably based it on the previous one, done when assessing us for home help type things.

I know it's a bit late, but am just going to embark on a HHC based in the kitchen. DD4 was visiting her dad when I got in, and she found out the news and came round to see if I knew. She stayed for a meal, as her DH and kids have gone off to his sister's for a few days, and by the time I'd knocked up a curry (yum!) the kitchen was a mess.

Too lazy to touch it till now, so here goes! (Don't expect anyone will join me at this time of night!)

HHC all done and dusted - managed to knock the kick board off one of the kitchen units with my energetic mopping of the floor, but think I've got it back OK.

Cup of tea now with my tablets, then off to bed!

    Morning All

:bdaycake:Happy Birthday SSL if you're poking your nose round the door - have a great day! I won't text you yet - it's a bit early - you might shout at me!

I was not doing HHCs at midnight - I was asleep - however you're more than welcome to join me for one at this time of the morning!

Good news Winchelsea - hope your DH will be happy there and you'll get some relaxing time - I hope that came out right!:A

Greenbee - sounds like you're having a good time at your parents' house - do you good to put your feet up.

G&B - hope all goes well today.

There's no playscheme today but we were supposed to be going to an event in the park. However it's raining so I'm not sure that'll be happenning.

    Must do jobs today

    Finish the LR
    Do some ironing

    Have a good day all

    Hugs
