Does seller have to refund postage ?

I did that twice and it said you will be emailed the info
Nothing came through so I rang ebay and they say the system won't give it ?"Very funny, Scotty. Now beam down my clothes."

I was given the phone number of a seller on 21st July, by email with no problem.
Hope you get it sorted missymugwump.0 -
I had exactly the same problem, and had to wait 10 days until I could escalate it. Ebay then found in my favour straight away (after I phoned them), and gave me the return address. I then had to wait until a delivery was made (special delivery), then phone ebay again, and finally got a refund. It took AGES!Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0 -
what an awful system who does it benefit ?
It seems that some of ebays decisions are of no benefit to buyer or seller"Very funny, Scotty. Now beam down my clothes."

With my point being that it gives unscrupulous sellers a chance to give the wrong details so you can't prove it went back"Very funny, Scotty. Now beam down my clothes."

I don't know why some claims are being forced back to ebay, I managed to start one recently by logging straight into paypal and it was a lot easier. If you see the problem I am having getting my money back from ebay after returning the item (it was signed for on 19th July - still no refund) I think the answer to your question is ebay/paypal (they own them anyway) as they have had my £440 in their account since 2nd Jjuly along with everyone else involved in their stupid buyer protection scheme.
In my case they suspended the funds in the sellers account which then prevented him from simply pressing a refund button. If he had been able to do that I would have had my money back ages ago and he would have had his fees returned but because we went through the resolution centre he loses his fees and I am still waiting for my refund.0 -
OMG I just rang them today (having waited as per the instruction)
Simply to request the sellers address and get this sorted
Only to be told that whilst on the phone they have found in my favour
I am being credited the full amount + my P&P
I said so can I now have the address to return the damaged item ?
No don't worry you don't need to send them back ?
Why ?
Because it will cost you money to send them trackable & ebay don't feel you should be out of pocket
Ok so your saying you have taken my word that they are damaged, you have refunded me yourselves & will recover it from the seller later and you are telling me I must not return the item ?
Yes !
By the time I hung up I had an email in my inbox and had the money in my Paypal account
As a seller that terrifies me,what is to stop people from false claiming and keeping the goods ?
They will still not give me her address"Very funny, Scotty. Now beam down my clothes."
