lol did make me laugh Andybez38 , does seem steep £150 i dont care who does it as long as i get the best offer and its done to a good standard ,but skiduck did say £150 was the max price to fit the glass basin as he wasnt sure what i would need etc

But if i got a quote for £150 i dont think i would bother

Yeah a max price was quoted, and a max price skiduck would charge by the sound of it. oh by the way (he's not polish)

How long to fit a basin then? The customer will have existing pipework, all you got to do is bend a bit of chrome pipe / join to existing a couple of drill holes for the sink fittment and whallah!!! even OP has said £150 is too high and would not bother, and i dont think i would pay that either. (robbin hood)

you must read whole posts before commenting on them. I said about 2 hours.

I'm not sure many people would be happy with your handywork.
Remember this is a glass basin, something where all the pipework has to be of high standard otherwise it would look like they employed a monkey to do it, you can't hide any dodgy work with a glass basin.
Is there much making do to be done? we don't know
Where are the existing pipes? we don't know
The waste needs to be changed to a chrome plated waste, the waste pipe needs to be changed to chrome - where is the waste pipe running?

It amazes me sometimes, people want the world for nothing and when they get some cowboy in that will bodgit and scarper they moan.
I have met many people that spend more on bathroom suites and interior designers than they are prepared to pay qualified and quality buolders/plumbers/electricians etc. Obviously people want value for money and 95% of the time they get it no matter what the price is.

Again I reiterate because you are having difficulty in understanding - £150 is a maximum, depending on what needed to be done.

I would appreciate you understood a bit more about plumbing before commenting on whether or not people are a "rogue trader" or a "robbin hood"

 I think you have quoted far to much for your plumbing sevices too, but hey some old biddy will come along. And hey presto you will have Matt Allwright from rougue traders asking you a few questions too. This man would charge £150 to fit a glass sink
