here's the original thread from 16th July....it's very long and I only read a bit of it a few days ago, so am not up to date with everything.

I'm in a bit of a dilemma cos I've just given notice to end my phone contract at end of month to take out an identical one at same price with Vodafone just for the £50 cashback! Haven't done it yey though. Topcashback (no fee) seem to be being recommended, might be signing up with them.
I've practically given up on Quidco purely because I wasn't making enough cashback to justify them taking £5.00 from me every year. I now just use topcashback who give just as much cashback more often than not as Quidco but don't charge a fee.Did owe £9,951.96
Now helping hubby pay off loan. Finally paid off :j

Hiya
At long last a couple ofUU to report
Arran aromatics awakening lavender shower gel WTBIA nope doesn't justify the price-smelt nice when your in the shower but the sent doesnt last 2mins once your out.
LE Cleans and Polish, a staple of mine, cant buy any more though, not just yet:( I have 'bout 4 others plus other brands.
What I cant work out is how come when your trying to use up stuff your not so keen on they seem to last for ever, and no matter much extra you try to use, they wont end. When at the weekend I use the stuff I love and try to eekk out for as long as poss they dont seem to last half as long even if you cut the tubes or turn the bottle on their ends.
Just seems so unfair. Sorry time to stop sulking and put my bottom lip way.
I've promised myself that I will do an inventory of all my stash. I have found myself thinking that I might just not have much left after 9 months of not buying anything. As Im not sure what is I will do my list and post it.
Think it will be a bit of a shock to get stuff after soo long I just dont want to go back to how it was:undecided
See you later

Evening ladies, just realised I missed the start of the thread with being on holiday.
I have one solitary UU to report after being away, and that was a sample size Herbal Essences Conditioner. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

hope you had a fab time scubaangel !!
only one UU from my bath earlier - the clarins bath and shower milk. WIBA? quite possibly - smells lovely and lasted quite a long timeDo not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup0 -
Two UUs: FCUK Sport Body Lotion WIBA? Yes, this was a thick cream and you had to work it in to your skin but it smelt divine and was very moisturising. Also, a 50 ml Botanics Softening Body Wash WIBA? Yes, it was quite nice but, of course, I have rather a lot of shower gels to get through yet!0

I used up a Lacuna hand cream. WIBA? No, it feels too 'plasticy', doesn't absorb either easily or well and has no discernable smell. Please call me 'Pickle'

Freyasmum - thanks so much for the Elle Mac roll on - it arrived today
Hopefully it will get me through till Xmas when they might bring the sets out again!
No more UUs to report but I did buy something - a Time Delay eye cream, as the Boots £5 voucher runs out today. Looking forward to the No7 voucher starting tomorrow so I can stock up on face wipes again. My debt free diary | Post Office loan: £2131 1429.38 | Barclaycard: £4429 1988.12 | Paypal Credit £322.71 574.91 | Monzo Flex £169.03 |

oh Lilian i wish you hadn't mentioned the No7 voucher. I always get the wipes because they're too expensive otherwise but i still have about 3 packs of the No 7 ones in my stock box. I must stay away from Boots.0

Sorry! That's what I do as well - I'm always scared they'll stop issuing vouchers - which of course they won't!My debt free diary | Post Office loan: £2131 1429.38 | Barclaycard: £4429 1988.12 | Paypal Credit £322.71 574.91 | Monzo Flex £169.03 |

Hi ladies – I’ve been AWOL for a while due to a massive workload and various events. I’ve been a little slack at pampering too, and my legs and cheeks are a bit dry again
Must do better. I have been continuing to use things up though, and haven’t bought much. First full report for a while follows!
Used:- Bottle of nail polish remover – generic
- Small bottle of Opi nail polish remover. WIBA? No! Absolute rubbish, took ages to remove any polish! Thankfully it was a freebie.
- Travel conditioner
- Other conditioner
- Botanics conditioner. WIBA? Yes! Second best conditioner I know of. Would buy again if I run out of my Tigi reconstructor.
- Small boots Mediterranean body wash. WIBA? Yes! Lovely, but they don’t sell it any more I don’t think…
- 2 samples Clarins serum and day cream. WIBA? No – nothing special, defiantly not worth the money. No 7 P&P is better for me.
- BS Almond Body Butter. WIBA? Yes – as good as all the other BS body butters. It’s quite a ‘warm’ smell, so I prefer it for winter, and fruity ones for summer.
- 1 small hotel freebie body lotion
- 5 other assorted sachets/tiny sample sizes
- Tube of toothpaste
- John Frieda frizz ease hair serum. WIBA? No – not bad, but not great, and slightly pricy.
- Batiste tropical large can. WIBA? Yes! It’s a godsend.
I’ve bought a few things, but all essentials:- Toothpaste – from the 99p store!
- Hair serum – Boots didn’t have any left of their own brand cheapy stuff, so after lots of comparison this seemed to be the best value for money among all the others (p per ml). And I paid in points :A It’s this stuff: http://www.boots.com/en/Organix-Coconut-Milk-Serum-118ml_952901/ I have to say I’ve never heard of the brand before, so was a little suspect, but so far it’s AMAZING! Hair feels great, and the smell is divine. I’m going to keep an eye out for offers on this one, as I’m pretty sure already I’ll be buying this a lot
- Batiste - small can. I bought this to chuck in a weekend bag, and it’s now in my main stash after my big can ran out. Will need to replace this with another large can soon.
- Generic nail polish remover
I got my new ghd’s, and I ended up ordering them with a free paddle brush, which I did need to replace my battered old one, rather than any hair products. So i was good there
And my revelation has been using baking soda as a face scrub – it’s amazing! :T I can’t believe I ever used anything else. Just a couple of drops of water with some soda in the palm of my hand, and massage over my face – it’s so fine that it feels like my skin is being buffed rather than scrubbed, and it looks and feels amazing afterwards. I’m never going back! I’d highly recommend this to anyone.
Anyway, I hope everyone is well, and a big welcome to all the newbies
Needless to say I’m still in the challenge for August0
