  • Hi thank you all for your warm welcome.

I was really nervous bout sending the first post so it was a bit of type quick and run that and having a sore head due to hangover.

I would love to give up alcohol altogether but just seems so impossible and I seem to come up with every excuse under the sun.

I would maybe drink 4 or 5 nights in a row then manage 2 nights without, then back to square one.

I’m hoping it stays dry here today got lots of washing to do.

    Thanks for listening

Hope you all have a great day.

Hi I was wondering if I could join in? Ive been reading for a while and now that Ive built the courage to post Im lost for words. I admire the support that you all give to each other. I find it difficult to go more than 2 nights without having a couple of drinks and have done for a while now. I have 2 jobs 3 kids and a partner. I hope this is ok for a first post. Now to see if i can send it.

    Hi Debs

Just out of interest, how did you find this forum ? For me I was desperate for a bit of support to get a handle on my drinking and I just googled "drinking too much" Trasi
