Bear in mind it'll be a Sunday evening, though...... in half term. A lot quiter than last night, I'm sure :)

Tis is very true, didn't think of that, plus if a pub is involved we will make sure it's one that has more than one 'facility' :rotfl:

  • Hey chaps

Morning - I'm so sleepy - one of the down sides of AF life - I'm like a bear in hibernation every night I don't drink.

Your bearness I completed last night :) Jo, I'm glad you had fun even if it involved being chucked out!!! - my new contacts must be amazing cos I can see my neighbour across the field 50 miles away :)................

Morning all - IM - 5 and a half stone - in a year - OMG! Well done you - xxxxxxxxx

Update for shaggy - I'm on 15 AFD, been a week since my last drink me lord. Feels a bit wierd - but I'm trying hard to stick to it.

    40sm - I'm OK so far :)

    More coffee!

Okay, so think we might have a stripy curry venue in Brick Lane! Shall I book it? Do peeps want to look at it first (ie website)? How many do I book for? I don't particularly want to advertise it on here for various reasons but I am happy to PM website link for you to see.

Please don't shoot me if it turns out crap....I am going on word of mouth reviews from actual people that I know, not from t'internet, I have never been there ;)

Do any of the maybe's have any idea if they are verging on joining the yes list as I need a good idea of numbers before I book as this place has a private room we could use and I need to know we will fill it (if anyone has a problem with this please let me know :) the door will be unlocked, you will be allowed to leave :D).

It is not to late to join in.....please let me know if you would like to come!

  • Hello all! Not been about for a while but pleased to report that tonight I will have been AF for TWO months! Not saying I'll never drink again (although the odds are that I probably won't or maybe just on the three times a year occaisions that my mates come to stay from the south!) but feel great.....got a lot of help from the brighteyes forum (google it)-they've got varoius sections for '7' days, '14' days, 1 month etc.....

My sort of aim is no booze till Xmas -that will give my poor body 5 months to recover!! & when Xmas comes I'll probably not fancy it...(!)

A quick note for Sim...Hi mate-sorry to mither you again...seen your posts re:moneyshop cheques etc...YOU WON'T get in trouble with Police etc....even if you do go BR or do a dro the worst scenario (very unlikely!) is something called a BRU (google it) from them....basically a slap on the wrist that stays on file for a while.

Sim mate-honestly-i do worry about you-re-read your last months posts-the money situ is causing you TOO MUCH stress...you won't go to prison or have police involved-go bankrupt & get rid of the stress!

    Awww hug.gif you didn't fail!

You managed to sort out the meeting venue before hand :) plus you had good ideas about the restaurant too. Are you trying to say that my choice is rubbish??? Hmmmm????
