What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.

    Morning all :D

    IM, lovely post :)

YM, get back to work :naughty:

HB, firstly big apologies but I have failed your challenge already :o I would not have entered into it if I'd remembered I'd arranged to go out last night. But I will hopefully do 50% of it today :)

What a night, it was quite enjoyable, just like I was 18 again. I got chucked out of a pub!!!  :rotfl:

Me and my mate were sat for a couple of hours having a nice chat, catching up, no bother. Then I bought a couple of drinks, set them down and went off to the loo. When I came back some bloke was sat in my seat chatting to my mate and found out that his mate had nicked my drink and walked off with it. They were both v. !!!!!!. I told the mate that he or his mate needed to buy me another drink....turns out they had been barred from most pubs in area and they couldn't get served anywhere. Long story short, eventually bloke that nicked drink gave me money to buy one as he wasn't allowed to be served himself but then the woman (guv'ner) wouldn't serve me cos I was sat with 'them'. I said 'no, they are sat with me, I don't even know who they, I've told them to leave us alone about half a dozen times and HE NICKED MY PINT!!!!!'

So she told me that she was not in the mood for an argument and said 'ged'atta my pub' (ironically she said it in a Peggy Mitchell voice and looked quite like her, same age etc, except she had dyed black hair!). So I told her I was leaving anyway and would be reporting her to environmental health after having to queue 20 minutes for the 1 and only toilet on the premises to find that it was awash with urine on the floor, possibly due to the fact that there was no toilet paper, although maybe they felt that the antibacterial handwash at the sink was enough??', then I stormed out.....wouldn't mind, I wasn't even !!!!!! :rotfl:

Just as well I left when I did, as I only just managed to catch the last tube and bus home  although huge bonus as I remembered that the bagel shop near the station is open 24 hours on a Sat night, tuna and onion bagel at 1am  then bed :) good night had by all :rotfl:

So, Fay and fellow stripy curry participants. I'm thinking we need to re-think venue for stripy curry, it's WAAAY rough there and v.v. busy ....and it's bad enough for a Londoner to cope with, let alone someone who doesn't have a neighbour for about 50 miles :rotfl:
