HOW MUCH DO YOU OR DID YOU SPEND PER DAY ON ALCOHOL???
Firstly, I don't want to know the answer.
My idea is, how about we add up the money saved for the rest of the week and donate it to help those poor people in Pakistan.
I intend to, if you wish to join in then you can donate by googling D E C (disasters emergency committee)
3 AFD's please
Apart from the moans & groans already talked about this morning I hope you are all well.:)Of all the things I've lost, I miss my mind the most.

Good Morning Ladies and Gents.
Been up all night, due to my body clock having been all over the shop this last week.
I'm so shattered that I nearly went back to bed just now, but I decided to stay up and solider on instead!
At least this way, by 9pm I'll be in bed, and back up tomorrow at a normal hour
Have made a plan re bills / phone calls. Dreading finally doing something about my debts, but I need to crack on and take action (Thanks Marru for your brilliant post last night).
Have a great day all.

I'm waiting to pounce on the Postman, due to the front (communal) door always being left open.. It's not his fault - the Housing Association had promised that the lock / 'trade access intercom button' would be fixed 18 months ago, and then again back in March this year.. It never was, and so a neighbour has been leaving the door 'on the latch' so that the Postman can get in. It seems that this has been the setup for years!
It's worrying that none of the neighbours seem bothered about the front door being permanently unlocked (and my Insurance being invalidated..)
Obviously the Postman needs to get in, but the Intercom needs to be fixed. The HA have done nothing about this in the 22 Months since I've been here. They're useless. I don't belieeeeve it!

Listening to Radio 4 (the Pakistan appeal just now) certainly puts everything in perspective though doesn't it?
I am going to start my day with one positive move - paying one bill - NPower - £11 is due tomorrow, and I'm about to pay it over the phone now
A month back I was looking at NPower either putting a Prepayment Meter back in, or being disconnected due to owing them £750 in arrears :-/
After calling them a few times, they eventually reduced the original figure of £70 per month down to £15.30 per week... I told them there was no way I could afford this at the moment.
NPower then agreed to put me in touch with their 'Safe Team, and are now asking for £11 per week which I agreed to.
My only worry is that if I now pay this, and I go for a Debt Relief Order at a later date, then the OR would see a 'preferential payment' as the £11 includes £1.50 towards the arrears..
Miniscule I know, but I don't want to lose the option of possible going for a DRO later on.
On the other hand, if I do go for a DRO, NPower will insist on fitting a Prepay Meter again anyway, and I'll be back to paying £80 - 100 per month!
A quandry, but it can be sorted.
Just rambling sorry folks.
Am calling the Substance Misuse Team this morning too.
Have a good one all,
Cheers,

Have a good day Sim. That is very annoying about your door. My dear ole mum lives in a communal block of flats, 6 flats all with single 'older' women in. The door keeps sticking and visitors/tradesmen can't be bothered to pull it shut. 2 years ago I got a frantic call from my mum saying she'd been robbed. 2 blokes pretending to be water men, well 1 man actually came into the flat, then whilst he kept her talking another one came in a nicked her purse from her bag with £50 in it
I tell you, I have never driven so fast in all my life, luckily I only live 5 minutes away, I nearly smacked into the side of the police car that was just pulling up!!

I'd like to get my hands on some of those low life types who prey on the elderly.:mad:Of all the things I've lost, I miss my mind the most.
