I'm now laying in bed with DS cos he was so traumatised
He could probably watch police camera action without batting an eyelid but to watch a gorilla die of old age and exhaustion is too much.
I won't be able to sleep now that I'm AF. Gonna be a long night!
Night all

Glad to hear you got back safe and sound from the outlaws, hope all frostiness has thawed xx
We are about 15 degrees .... Still a bit parky in my book :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Anyone noticed that Autumn has arrived .... must get the sawbench out .... I feel a log fire coming on
Off to bed now- hope to see you all bright and early at sunrise .......
Kidding of course - anyone up before 8.00 (except those working of course) will get a telling off
PS. Being at 15 deg is a good thing - Mrs BHB had to milk the goat tonight while I watched Vexed :rotfl:
...... Now if only I had of got round to sawing up some wood ! ....rolls eyes ...Embrace your inner Hillbilly

Right after drinking for god knows how many years and every so often enjoying it far too much I have decided to give alcohol a break. I haven't touched a drop since Monday 23rd, the decision behind this is to become a boring miserable old fart, only kidding the real reason is to get healthy, lose some weight and save some cash and not die of a heart attack or stroke in the next few years.
Well when I wake up in the morning that will be day 7 without a drop of alcohol, not sure how I really feel about it but I have stopped snacking and eating rubbish late at night, hopefully my waistline should show some benefit (it had bloody better do soon ;o))))) )
Not to sure how I feel about it yet but I suppose time will tell, roll on week two and lets see if I can make it to one month AF.0 -

I had 2 glasses of red wine last night and boy do I feel rough this morning.
I had a terrible nights sleep and gave up at 6.30am and got up.
I really do know now how much better I feel without alcohol and can't kid myself I feel better when I have a drink. I looked so sad last night after a glass of wine. I looked at myself in the mirror and my eyes were sad and my face was red.
Can't believe how rubbish I feel after 2 drinks and what little enjoyment there was for me. Still at least its sinking in now as this is the worst I've felt in ages. Time to get on the AF wagon again

1 more day in the bag so 11 AFDs for me please.
ShaggyWhat do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.0 -
