Oooh I loved loved loved the Bay City rollers & had the trousers to prove it!!!!
The former was a much bugged for birthday pressie from my parents - and only bought as it was really cheap due to the shop losing the inlay card
The latter were down to pester power over about 12 months for a pair of jeans - any jeans - as all my friends had some and I didn't. The tartan pockets were the icing on the cake :rotfl:
But the best part was that (when the legs got too short) I then cut them down to turn them into (very short) shorts, and wore them when I went Youth Hostelling with a couple of school friends in 1981/82 (think it was 81 but not certain - one of my friends was doing her 'Young Leaders Certificate' for Brownies, and had to organise an activity like this). Mind, they only just fitted around the waist by that pointCheryl0 -
Well that's it then, the theme for tomorrow's party - Seventies boys bands! Come dressed as someone from Bay City Rollers, Slade, Glitter Band, Sweet, Mud, the Osmonds....and appropriate music of course! One life - your life - live it!0

Restarted my freezer stock-take yesterday, and managed to repack the 5 drawers I did to make a bit of space. Still have 4 drawers to do, so must get that finished tonight.
I really must start adding to my s/sheet when I put stuff into them, rather than just marking when I take stuff out - that would save me having to do the stock-take at the end of every month
After thinking that we had nowt in for dinner, I have just delved into my freezer and found Chicken Kievs (from my whoopise purchase the other week) for dinner, with frozen veg for me and some new potatoes I found lurking in the fridge and some beans for OH (as he doesn't do 'proper' veg given the choice)..so that's saved us getting takeaway tonight. Also found some cheese sauce in the bottom draw which I've got out to make caulifour cheese, AND I am cooking some extra spuds for a spanish tortilla tomorrow. Now how's that for planning and resourcefulness?
:bdaycake:
Happy B'Day Beanie! We'll give you the bumps tomorrow night at Jinty's shed party :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

Well, had to spend a bit today on stuff I had forgotten to get in my online delivery shop, so slap my wrists there! Next possible NSD will be Sunday. I know I will not make my target for the month but I will still keep trying because whatever my final figure is for August will be my starting target for September. Then just maybe I will get the breakdancing budgie or the waltzing wildebeest........One life - your life - live it!0

Two more NSDs to add, taking my total to 12.
Should be able to get at least one more, probably two, before the end of the month.
