Spoony - I thank 'him upstairs' that I had our moggie Big G insured when it came to the treatments etc he needed last year before he departed for rainbow bridge
, and I made sure that Skippy is also covered in case she ever needs treatment. I don't agree with a lot of the insurances they try to get you to take out, bike, mobile phone, jewellary etc etc but I would ALWAYS recommend pet insurance.

I had pet insurance and paid the premiums religiously in case of any illnesses. Problem was that he was an elderly chap and the insurance was taken out in the days of limited payouts. By the time he became ill it was too late to change it - he was uninsurable by a new company and the company I was with wouldn't change the policy:mad::mad::mad::mad:. So I had paid out all those years for nothing and still ended up with a massive bill to pay:mad::mad:.

Apologies to Katenut for opening a can of worms( sorry for that dreadful pun:rotfl:) re vet bills and thanks for the advice re shopping around for meds.
Spoon, the same thing happened to me with my old puss ( sadly departed now) but I still have pet ins, too scared not to!
Anyhoo - today is another day, sorry for being a grumpy so and so yesterday!:(
Spend day today - A£da, then hairdo, then library. Busy morning ahead!
Will be back later to see what you're all up to!
