NSD #7 for me please
I nearly caved in on the toysr** websale but decided to wait for the dear santa letters before buying more than we actually need! It was a bit too close though
Make £/day March: £1490.85 / £310
Quidco £3,143.16 NSD Mar:14
2024 Road Kill £1
March Sales of Excess £240.850 -
Seeing as today was a spend day (due to not 1 but 2 D/Debits going out of my bank account) I had a "Whoopsie Day"
Bought 3 full price items (a loaf of bread that's on special offer, a bunch of bananas, and a bag of frozen sliced mushrooms) which accounted for £2.20-ish of my total spend.
Whoopsies netted me 2 packs of cooked and shelled mussells (for freezer), 2 individual Chicken & Mushroom pies (had for tea as I'd forgotten to pull pies out to defrost this morning - so a smashing bargain), a Chilli & Mango loaf (this months featured flavour, and very nice it is too), 2 packs Almond Croissants (for me), 1 pack Chocolate Croissants (for DS), 1 pack T0ffee Crisp Cookies (for me), 1 short French Stick (for DS), 1 Best Seeded Baguette (for me), 2 salad pots (for me), a pack of 2 creamy pepper Chicken Kievs (for freezer), a bag of 5 pick 'n' mix bread rolls, a pack of 5 Raspberry doughnuts (for me), and a pack of 20 mini sausage rolls (mostly for DS).
I've not yet entered the info to my spreadsheet to work out total saving on my £6.40 spends that went on Whoopsies, but I know I spent £4.20-ish on them
Had intended to do a 2 mile run tonight (thought that was enough, given I did a 5 mile run yesterday morning and spent 9 hours on my feet at work today), but by the time I was ready to go out I decided to do a longer run to get me to work for final reductions (rather than getting home with very little time before I'd have had to head out again). Ended up doing 3.62 miles (in 39 mins and 5 secs) which involved crossing a railway line 4 times (all on bridges, but one has very steep steps while the other 3 are 'roads' - more like farm tracks - so slopes of varying degrees either side). I put my staff discount card and bank debit card into the back pocket of my running trousers before leaving, so the only issue was having to use carrier bags (which hurt my hands) rather than canvas bags that I couldn't have carried on the run.....Cheryl0 -
