If you email them hun they will create the design.

They didnt have the design I used for postcards and business cards for the brochures, so I sent them an email and they created it for me (Totally free) and saved it into my portfolio!!!:T

Thanks BanburyBride. I have just done that so hopefully they will sort me out!:)

ETA: they replied and created a business card for me straightaway. Yippee. So I've ordered some and some free calendar magnets and another free pen. But it won't let me order free thank you notes at the same time, despite them having been in the same offer email. And I still can't get anything through Quidco.
If you have nothing constructive to say just move along.
  • I've used vistaprint for:

    Save the date magnets
    Save the date cards
Invitations (we used the flat tall invite and have attached it to a backing card)
    Hen night t-shirts
Brochures - with all of the wedding info in etc, parking, directions etc

Couple of tips for using vistaprint:

    1) If you are uploading your own pictures to use, it normally costs £3.99 however if you check out the e-mails they send and click through to the item you want, you'll often see that the cost of the upload is cheaper. All e-mails are NOT equal i.e. I was ordering the brochures and clicked on one e-mail, to upload the picture it would have been half price (seems good!), clicking on another e-mail, which appeared to be the same offer, I found that the upload price was now 39pence!! Bargain!

    2) It is often cheaper to order items individually than in a big order. Using the brochures as an example again, in the offer price it was 25 for free or 50 for £12.99, I ordered 25 for free and the postage was around £4. I then just went through the process again (same e-mail) and reordered, therefore getting 50 brochures for £8 instead of £12.99 + postage!! Plus I've found they often come in the same box anyway.

What 'title' did you put on the fron of the brochure im stuck! Also finding it hard to get a map online that i can copy and paste and use in the brochure, any ideas where i can find it from. What other info did you put in it? Im finding it hard to fill the pages!

    Thanks x

When i moved house a couple of years ago i made cards that had a square from an ordinance survey map on the front, right where the flat was. I was rather proud of those. I circled my flat.

I think i just did a screen dump off the net into paintbrush and then put the circle on and saved it as a picture file.
saving up another deposit as we've lost all our equity.

Have just ordered a bundle of stuff from Vistaprint, I got a second mug (gifty for our bridesmaids - bought one a few weeks back, now got the second), 100 postcards for people to write messages on for our wishing tree (instead of a guestbook) and 250 business cards (waaaaay more than enough!) with details of the photobucket account I've set up for people to load their pictures up to so we can see them all. And all for a grand price of just £9.22 (£6.73 of which was shipping/VAT)

    I love Vistaprint!! :D

  • Can anyone help, im making a brochure too (with wedding info) but dont know what 'title' to use on the front. What has everybody else put? Also what other info has everyone put inside it? Finding it hard to fill the pages! Thanks x
  • We just received an order yesterday - ordered 5 calenders - for the price of 1 - but received someone elses - got one of mine but 4 of someones holiday pics! Bit gutted that someone else will have 4 calendars of my wedding - they told me to just use the other calenders - they have refunded the postage and are sending out replacements but them telling me to use someone elses calendars put me on edge a little! Would love to find out whose calendars they are and send them to them!

Everything else is perfect though! HAve got postcards with our pic on the front to use as thank you cards,a stamp for our geocaching and a lovely little photobook - which can go in my handbag! x

On the front of our brochure I put a picture of the venue we are getting married in (a castle) and then put:

    The wedding of

    Her name

    and

    My name

    at Venue

    Date

Regarding information inside, I put details of where the wedding ceremony will take place including address, time etc. Details of the reception venue. Dress code, what to do about gifts, where to park (that's a real issue with us so took up a lot of space), disabled access etc etc.

Regarding the map, again it's a little complicated for us as both the wedding and the reception are in a town centre so guests are having to use public car parks. I therefore got a map of the town from a local paper and then redrew it in photoshop and adapted it to our needs.

If all you want is a road map, I would suggest multimap, do a screen print, crop out the edges and then paste it into your brochure design.
