For those who have done alot through vista print - do you eventually get everything offered free at some point? Dunno whether to wait for emails saying have free brochure/invites or whether just to do them?

I've just been getting click happy in vistaland.

I've ordered two "Just Married 10th June 2011" t shirts, his and hers, totally free!

I've also ordered us a calendar for next year with a different picture every month, totally free!

Love it!

I'm going to get a mug for the h2bs mum for crimbo that reads "Mother in Law to be 2010 - we're still friends"

I got my kids mugs today- Pageboys with date and bridesmaid with date.

nly ordered last week and shipped 20 days early again!!!

Yes, eventually most things seem to come up on the offer email but it depends how many you need - I'm sure I've only seen the invites with 10 free, or sometimes get 30 pay for only 10 instead.

I was thinking of ordering a couple of baseball caps that say "we're off to the smith-jones wedding" on them for h2b and his dad to wear on the flights out. I don't think they'd wear them though!

I love Vistaprint freebies! Have ordered from them 3 times in the past month already! I tried to do the cashback via TopCashback but found that all of the free/discounted offers disappeared when I did this so gave up trying - maybe I did something wrong?

So far I have ordered:
Small cotton tote bag - I keep my wedding planner & bits and pieces in it!

Personalised pen - I use it for my wedding planner but going to order another one for the guest book!

250 business cards - These have our name & date on them, not sure what to do with them at the moment haha (bit of an impulse buy!)

Photo calendar - I made a 2011 one with key dates in it like "H2B birthday", "Our last dating anniversary" etc. Going to write all my payments on it so it's a dedicated wedding calendar

40 horizontal invites for our engagement party - not free but discounted!

and today I've ordered:

Groom t-shirt & personalised mug - for H2B Christmas stocking

100 postcards for us to send out as STDs!

All that for around £20 in postage! Absolute bargain. The quality of our invitations is amazing, I designed them on Photoshop and have had so many compliments on them. Would totally recommend it! I would post a picture but not sure how to lol!

Me too! But I couldn't do it through Quidco. Doh.

I'm now on my 3rd set of postcards because the second lot I ordered arrived all damaged and they're sending me some totally free ones!

I'm going to get 2 t-shirts for me and OH to wear the day after the wedding. Would love some business cards as place cards, but they don't do the design that I chose for the postcards.

Got a banner and a T-shirt the other day for my OHs big birthday coming up. Couldn't believe the size of the banner!

I've used vistaprint for:

Save the date magnets
Save the date cards
Invitations (we used the flat tall invite and have attached it to a backing card)
Hen night t-shirts
Brochures - with all of the wedding info in etc, parking, directions etc

Couple of tips for using vistaprint:

1) If you are uploading your own pictures to use, it normally costs £3.99 however if you check out the e-mails they send and click through to the item you want, you'll often see that the cost of the upload is cheaper. All e-mails are NOT equal i.e. I was ordering the brochures and clicked on one e-mail, to upload the picture it would have been half price (seems good!), clicking on another e-mail, which appeared to be the same offer, I found that the upload price was now 39pence!! Bargain!

2) It is often cheaper to order items individually than in a big order. Using the brochures as an example again, in the offer price it was 25 for free or 50 for £12.99, I ordered 25 for free and the postage was around £4. I then just went through the process again (same e-mail) and reordered, therefore getting 50 brochures for £8 instead of £12.99 + postage!! Plus I've found they often come in the same box anyway.

If you email them hun they will create the design.

They didnt have the design I used for postcards and business cards for the brochures, so I sent them an email and they created it for me (Totally free) and saved it into my portfolio!!!:T

I ordered free business cards as well, with just our names and wedding date on them. I thought maybe I'd use them to label the jars in our sweetie buffet. We got the free stickers to use as bag seals as well.

I've also ordered a FOB hat for my dad (he's a hat person) a 'bride' bag and t-shirt for the wedding day, a 'just married' t-shirt and bag for honeymoon, and a notebook that we'll use for a honeymoon journal if we're feeling up to it. I've ordered loads of free pens with our names and wedding date on, mugs for his parents thank you gifts (looking for ideas on what to put with them!!). I have a bag ordered for each of our bridesmaids. I ordered both thank you and Christmas cards as well. I wanted to get thank you cards done with our photos on, but it'll take me too long to get around to it after the wedding and honeymoon. Ooh, and I got some menu cards for the tables as well! These were hard to get free, and I think I made them as invitations in the end!

I think that's about it. I got some cashback with Quidco (if you order the free Christmas cards through Quidco, you get matching envelopes for free as well!)
