Vistaprint freebie ideas

Vikki, you can only have 1 free item in each order, so if you wanted 2 tshirts, you'd have to have 2 emails each with a free tshirt on them, so 2 orders I'm afraid!
Thanks, I thought that might be the case, just wondered whether I might be able to trick two out of them if one was a man's t-shirt and one was a woman's! Might have to actually pay for one of them then if I do decide to order, as we fly out (getting married abroad) 5 weeks yesterday :eek:0 -
we have used Vistaprint for
50 free Save the date fridge magnets (with a free uploaded picture)
100 free Postcards that match our cadburys purple theme as invites, all the info on one side and a quote on the back
100 free matching postcards to use as thank you cards
i might get some business cards as favour labels...hmmnn0 -
I used Vistaprint for the first time today after seeing about it on here, had an email from them today to say lots of stuff was free, so I ordered 100 postcards as Thank you cards, 250 business cards as save the dates, a banner for our top table, and a mug for my mum which I have put on it "Mother of the Brides's tea" as that is all she will drink on the day lol! And all that only cost £7.46 postage! Really looking forward to it all coming through now so I can see it![STRIKE]Getting married to[/STRIKE] Married my soul mate on

love vistaprint lolThe only people I have to answer to are my beautiful babies aged 8 and 50 -
The other day I got my order of a free mug, 2 cotton bags and 2 pens. The mug is a thank you gift for one of our bridesmaids (I'll order another for our second bridesmaid when I get another free offers email), the 2 bags are to put the mugs in and the two pens will be for writing in our guest book.
I'm also thinking of getting business cards to use as placecards, and possibly the postcards for something else, just not sure what yet. I'm thinking of having a wishing tree instead of a guestbook so might use the postcards for people to write on and hang on the tree but it depends on how big they are!:j Debt Free 27.07.2011!! :j0 -
I have ordered quite a lof of stuff from Vista.
100 Postcards for Save The Dates for evening guests.
25 Magnets for Save the Dates for day guests.
140 Return address labels to stick on the RSVP envelopes (When I order them!) for people to send back.
A Pen with "Mother of the Groom" and our wedding date on.
A T-shirt with "Future Mrs ******" on which I wear for bed, OH thinks it's cute!
A Tote Bag with "Future Mrs ******" on it too.
A banner with our names and date of our wedding to hang up at the reception.
A Rubber stamp with our married names on and address.
Thank you notes to send after the wedding
A Notepad with our caricatures along the top (And our 3 cats!)
I am waiting for the following to arrive still:
Lawn Sign - To sell my chicken eggs.
Return address labels which I've turned into Favour stickers to stick on my jam jars.
Envelope seals for our invitation envelopes
and a notebook with a photo of us both on the front.. For my wedding ideas bible lol.
They were supposed to arrive on or before 10-09-10 but they haven't yet, which is odd
I have my Brochures all wirtten out and saved on there too for my "Order of the Day" brochures. They have names and roles of everyone in the bridal party, reception venue address and instructions how to get there from the ceremony venue, plus details of carparks for the venue and times of everything happening during the day so everyone knows what's going on. Gonna wait til nearer the day to print them though incase timings etc change but I LOVE them!0 -
love all the ideas

i have ordered a notebook with 'best man speech notes' on it and going to give it to BM as part of xmas present!
He is also a very big tea drinker, so going to do a mug with a funny photo of him on it and a message of thanks, and make a "morning after kit" for him - put couple tea bags, pack sugar, paracetamol biscuits etc and wrap up in celophane/small gift bag and tag it as the morning after kit for him, as he has said soon as speech is over he is having a lot to drink! lol.
thinking bout doing a cotton bag for one of our FG who is 10 - have got colouring pencils, print out pages etc for her to have through the meal/speeches so isnt too bored and thought a nice bag with her name on it would be nice to have hanging on the chair for her.
have done pen for the guest book and our brochures are all set up ready to be ordered for the invites too.
loving all the ideas so looking forard to hearing many more!!:heart2:Married my Prince Charming on 15th April 2011 - perfect day!

Got a couple of quick questions about Vistaprint.
I was going to use their postcards as RSVP cards (cheaper than those through Pure Invitation where I'm doing the invites) and just wondered:
1. whether Vistaprint saves your designs - as I have just spent over an hour tweaking and rearranging text boxes?; (ETA:found it, thankfully!)
2. whether anyone has managed to get these as freebies and how exactly they did it? Don't mind paying for envelopes if I get the cards free!
3. are they decent quality?
OH will flip when he comes home from work and all I've done all morning is design a fancy RSVP card, that I might not even go for yet, and haven't ordered any invites because I procrastinate too much, in the hope of getting it cheaper somewhere else!!! Tee hee. But I've enjoyed myself!
ETA: I bit the bullet and ordered the invites! Chocolate, cream and gold - guess that's a start point for a colour theme! If you have nothing constructive to say just move along.0 -
Hey Jojo,
i guess some of your questions have gone now you have ordered something! did you find it ok ordering to get them free and only pay p+p?
What is also good about vista is now you have made something with those colours it will show you other items in the same theme so get an idea of bits.
Its good that it saves things too - i have a few things saved on there that am waiting for pay day to be able to order it!
I havent had any problems with quality of anything have orderd - was over the moon with the banner as was a million times better than had though it was going to be!
You will be so excited waiting for the post when you get your delivery!! :j:heart2:Married my Prince Charming on 15th April 2011 - perfect day!
