Vistaprint freebie ideas

Vistaprint are always sending emails giving away free stuff, i was just wondering what everyone is doing with them,or have used these in creative mse way. Someone on another thread mentioned getting free magnets and using them as save the date magnets which is a fab idea. Just wondering if anyone else had any other ideas?

i got the magnets and used them as save the dates last year and this year registered my H2B and got 100 business cards made with photobucket login details other information for people to upload photos after the wedding. These will be put onto the tables with the favours

we set up a photobucket account just for the wedding.

i used the free business cards to make my place settings, going to weave them through the fork and have it laying on top of the plates.
I used the free postcards as my save the dates, with a little poem on:)

I have the save the date magnets, and also I printed brochures with all our wedding info (as its away) and they look great. I plan to use them for thank you cards afterwards, and also got note cards that we will include with the save the dates for certain people.

I got a notebook that matches our theme to use and have as a momento afterwards and got business cards that I will use as place cards, and will be using some of the excess cards to make them stand up. I got pens for fun, notepads for fun.

I really think the magnets are great!! I am doing my own wedding invites, but might see if I can get some more stuff from there to help!

Vista print is amazing!! lol! love the freebe's could order so many different things!
I have ordered business cards which i have transformed into RSPV detail cards; have address, phone number, email on to put in the invitations.
When we have more of the details we plan to do the brochure of leaflet; was going to make ourselves, but this could be cheaper to save on ink!
we ordered the post cards as our save the dates. I have also just done another load of business cards and have changed the information to include a poem and instructions with a thankyou to attach to our seed paper favors - going to punch hole in the corner and tie with ribbon to the paper (i think)!
there are so many things you can do with their bits! Am considering ordering a tshirt saying 'just married' for OH the morning after too! lol

I got the 25 magnets for my save the dates (although i hadnt booked at time so they just say May 2012 lol) i also got 140 returns address labels for the envelopes to come bk matching theme and then the other day I got some more returns addy labels for my cupcakes (So not wedding related but a bargain!!) I was also looking at getting some business cards for rsvps but I dont think I am now i am tempted though!

wow, brochure sounds interesting, what are you going to use this for and what will you put on it?

Thanks marias1981! its trying to find ways to take advantage of all the free bits! Wouldnt have got half ideas if it wasnt for all these other genius's on here!! lol.:beer:
The brochures/leaflets will hae bits of info to send to our guests;
- address of the registry office
- address of the rugby club where the reception is
- details of the car parks where guest can park (for the registry office)
-details of the wedding lunch and what people can choose from (having fish and chips!!)
- information on hotels in the town
- taxi companies
- time people need to arrive
- dates that RSPV need to be returned
- bit of info about the location of where having photographs taken (its an old abbey ruins)
There might be some other bits too that think of when comes to getting them together.
May have an A-Z in there too (i cant find the link to the thread about it, but it has things that relate to each letter of alphabet; bridesmaid names, etc.)

Whats great about things on vista is they have some disney versions of bits so it fits amazingly!!
We are going to do a quiz as well in the afternoon so may try and use something from there for that! lol.
we got 250 (business cards) for our favors for £3.47 - will be having 60 people at most so will be using some of the reminder to make the seed paper too. am looking forward to seeing other ideas people have on here to take advantage of!!:rotfl:

i was thinking of using the return address labels and personalising them with names and date of wedding and putting them on the favour boxes.

Is vista print safe? I looked at it a couple of years ago but all the online reviews said they signed you up to a "club" that cost £9 a month and you couldn't opt out or cancel it?........ have they stopped doing that now?
