The ONLY way I got this to stop was to complain to high level complaints team. I was told he had to get my name removed from 3 seperate department systems. What my details were doing on there when I had always opted out is in the hands of the information commissioners office.
After this had occured the calls stopped..0 -
Just an update. I've got round to moving away as Sky offered us a good deal when my husband rang them about something else. It's free broadband, free line rental for a year, free caller display and anytime calls for £5 a month.
Talk Talk are now ringing me up and begging me to stay. When I explained I am moving to Sky and only paying £5 a month, I got accused of "telling fibs" as the deal is not on the Sky website. Yes I'm really going to stay with you if you ring me up and tell me I'm a liar
A gentleman rang to ask why I was moving and I said I was sick of rude Talk Talk telesales calls. He assured me that nobody in the Talk Talk call centre was rude, then proceeded to talk over the top of me and told me I didn't understand that Sky are going to rip me off :rotfl:Here I go again on my own....0 -

It certainly sounds to good to be true. Have you got the offer in writing?0 -

Yes got a letter confirming all the details.
I know they are doing the free line rental for newbies who sign up at stands in shopping centres, but we were told they could do it for us as we were changing our TV package and bringing the phone and broadband to them. Here I go again on my own....0 -
Well, if you are happy with all the details, sounds like an offer not to be missed. Just be sure to read all the fine print, particularly any tie-in period and/or cancellation penalties.0

I signed into my TalkTalk account today and they have added a very useful feature - the ability to deselect yourself from any contact from Talk and/or third parties!0 -
Would love to leave Talk Talk but their billing errors have me trapped. They keep refunding the money to the account that they wrongly take instead of sending it to us. Feels like a bit of a con TBH.Barclaycard 3800
