Basic Bank Account HSBC or NATWEST?

Go into branch, provide them with your new address and ID to show that is where you now live, and ask them to send a new card to that address whilst also making sure they cancel all previous cards in case whoever lives at your last address has opened the envelope(s).
They'll also be able to tell you if you're eligible for an upgrade / better account whilst your in branch.
EDIT: you have to report it lost / stolen even if it was lost in your own house! Doesn't matter
Unless you don't want a new card, that is
Cashback Earned ¦ Nectar Points £68 ¦ Natoinwide Select £62 ¦ Aqua Reward £100 ¦ Amex Platinum £48

With my lloyds tsb application hanging, I was considering going for a NatWest application, but NatWest are selling their Scotland branches to Santander and I don't want to apply to RBS (have had a debt with them). I wish HSBC would provide atleast some form of Visa or Maestro.0

Martin you can't get an overdraft or chequebook on a step account. You would need to apply for an upgraded account for that. When your card is replaced it will be a visa debit card which is somewhat better than your current solo card.0
