    Download CCLEANER
    http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner/download/slim
    Run the CLEANER scan (UNTICK 'cookies')
    Then run the REGISTRY scan (Backup the registry when it asks)

    then your good to go id say :)

    How often should I run the Malwarebytes or do I leave it till I have another problem.

    btw I dont know if the 10.50 turning off issue is fixed yet as I am not off till Thursday so will let you know

    You only need to run MBAM if you have (or think you have) a problem.
    No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)

    I've removed thousands of infections on different PC's in my time as a Systems Engineer and many of those times other programs have picked up things MBAM doesn't.

    I didn't mean that MBAM should only be run in isolation, I specifically responded to the OP's question as to when MBAM should be run.

    Really your call. personally i recommend updating and scanning weekly if your still unsure if its infected or not. Or monthly otherwise (In conjunction with your main av)
