If using the same figures as AMD, i should get limit of £4500.

I'll let you know as soon as it arrives!

Got my card this morning and my limit is £4500.

That will work, unless there is a fee transferring to tesco then you will need to pay this. Otherwise, I have done this before with tesco and HBOS cards and they never said a word, but this was before fees were introduced.

    £1500

Knew it was too good to be true, another indian call centre, cant understand a word. Everytime time i ring to activate "our system is currently updating, ring back in an hour" lying gits, its broke.
  • I applied for a card a few months ago, when I received it I was told it wasn't the 3.9% LOB even though this was what I had applied for. I had to re-apply over the phone, they sent out new terms and conditions and I received the card this week, with the same limit of £4000. I asked for an extra £1000, believeing it was pretty much automatic, the request was refused. I was told it was because it was a new account and I should try again in 3 months time.

me and my oh both applied for 1 at the same time,

im a higher earner than her and i got £4500 credit limit (i earn around 23-27k a yr)
and my o/h got a limit of £5000 (she earns approx £15-18k)
im not sure how that works but im quite impressed with the limits we were given,
we have no balance transfers to send over so we are going to pay our wedding venue with them and our honeymoon,
    thanks M&S.

also 1 last note, i did get an indian lady on the phone but she was very nice and easy to understand.

I got turned down for a Capital One Platinum card a few days ago, hardly surprising but I wanted to test the water for 15months 0% on BT.

Anyway I have decided that LOB will be better for me in the long run, so does anyone think it is advisable that I apply now??

I know that M&S use Experian, which is what Capital One used for me!

I really want one of these cards!

Perhaps you didn't mean to say that" you want one"
    Do you need one?
As you only have £1500 left to pay off, leave it for a month and consider applying for a 0% card A&L are quite good but they have a BT fee.

Yep I do need to transfer my balance, but I meant I would like one of these cards particularly.

I would like to transfer the life of the balance, so I dont have to worry about paying it off within the 0% period as I am being made redundant on 22nd December (nice xmas present!)

I was debating it as I have protection on my current card, so will probably be best leaving it till the new year anyway... do you agree that would be the best thing to do?

I will look into A&L in case I find myself with a nicely paid new job sooner than I expect, thanks!

Transfered £3600 @ 3.9% for life... pretty happy with it :)
