I got my M&S &More card almost 3 and a half years ago and they only gave me a poxy £500 limit. They are now run by HSBC so if you already have several HSBC cards or have had in the past this may be a factor as they will be able to see so from your credit file.0

Credit limit of £7,500
£2,000 limit, which is perfect for me

WOO HOO Got my limit £7000!
Thats nearly double what I was expecting. Got a feeling it is because I have an account with HSBC which is just bills, but have always said no to a card.
I already have 4 other cards (Total of limits 15k), earn approx 18k a year, but have very good credit file.
The £7000 means I will be able to transfer everything I need to with loads to spare! Yeh!
Very happy.Money, money, money, must be funny....in a rich mans world.

Both me and my GF applied for one.
I got a rather !!!!!! £1500 limit, she got £2K although she has an APPAULING credit history. Work that one out if you can.
I really need to bump mine up to £2500 if poss by Feb. If I spend and pay it off in full every month, would that be good enough for them perhaps up it in 3 months. If I don't ill just have to rejig my debts a little. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
Mine came through the other day - unfortunately only a £2000 limit, not as high as I hoped but when you consider the amount of available credit I already have I suppose its not too bad!! At least I can transfer the MBNA card and close that one down if I pay off the extra hundred odd pounds..............Proud to be dealing with my debts :T DFW Nerd: 2410

If you give them a call now they may increase your limit straight away, tell them what you need it for. If you read the past threads on here a lot of people have done this and got an extra £1000.

I was given a card for £4,000. I phoned them up and asked for £5,000 they agreed straight away.
I've got 6 months to BT so I will stay with MINT until Feb when my 0% runs out and then transfer the lot.
Pretty good I reckon.nothing.0 -
applied on line last night, message said decision within 48 hrs, received email this morning saying
Thank you for applying for the new &MORE Credit Card, the only card to be seen with and the only credit card you'll ever need.

Please accept our apologies for the short delay.
Anyone received a sod off letter after this? or are we looking on track for a YES?0 -
Got my pin number through on Monday and the card today.
£6,000 limit, though I could have done with £9,000.
Capital One balance can be transfered onto it in January when the 0% runs out.
Need a £3,000 card to transfer the Alliance & Leicester balance.0 -

I had that reply and was accepted. It means it has gone to the underwriters.
Mine had a telephone number on the email, which I rang, and the woman told me on the phone there and then that I had been accepted.
They gave me a £5000 limit too.0
