hi thanks for your lovely posts.
Having a really crappy time, have no idea why, but self esteem has gone through the floor (again!), Feel fat horrid old and frumpy........ thinking about it, it might be because I went out last night.... really hate feeling like this, know that its just an average bad day like everyone has, its just rubbish when it's you.... ended up having a drunken frank honest chat with OH last night about how I dislike the way I look most of the time and the stuff I'd change.....really didn't help talking to him about it though, he really doesn't understand as he's super confident in himself.
so sorry to whinge.... on the up front am having a no spend day(apart from ebay postage but thats paid for), although i rreeeeeeaaaaallllyyyy want to go out and have some retail therapy to make myself feel better..... and am posting off some ebay stuff today.... cant think of anything else at the moment.....still on track to pay off the debt by the end of the year...really need to do some christmas shopping......going to go and drown my sorrows in a cup of tea....
sorry again for not being all happy and cheery0 -
Oh MissyMoo, that is no good! What can we do to lift you up? Have you thought about listing the things you like about yourself? Or putting on a beautiful dress just to do the washing up? I find wearing red always cheers me up. Take 5 minutes out and make a happy list. A list of the things that fill you with pleasure and joy and make you feel like yourself, the best version you can be. My list includes, freshly dyed hair, throwing stones in the sea, flirting outrageously and dancing like a crazy fool. Once you've got your list, make it a priority to do at least one thing from your list every day.
I'm no stranger to low self esteem. Feeling surprisingly bouncy at the minute though! But last week, I felt old and haggard. Spent half my teens starving myself and half my twenties having panic attacks about the way I looked. I try now to focus on the things I like about myself; my hair, my fantastic rack, my tattoo on my forearm, a sassy dress, wearing hold ups for no reason, always wearing fantastic knickers. The days I feel rubbish about myself are the days I know that I need to make more effort, a pretty dress, straightened hair and full make up. Even if i don't leave the house. I'm not one of those women who won't leave the house without make up (definitely not, I'm actually very low maintenance), I just know how important it is to me to look glamorous when I'm feeling low. It seems to trick my mind into believing it. Oh, and I never, ever look at photos of myself when I feel low!

Right dinner done. Missy. What do you want to change about yourself? What CAN you change? Whatever you can't you have to live with and whatever you can then plan and deal with my love. I can't say anymore really.... We all have our moments but you have to basically learn to love yourself. XXX'The road to a friends house is never long'0

morning,
bless you thank you.... Ruby you are completely right, there are definite small things I can do that would immediately make me feel better. So there is definitely a pamper session needed, re hair dying and toe nail painting etc I suppose some things I dislike are changeable, its just having the will power to diet and stop biting my disgusting nails and try and do something about my hair (curly brown and a bad just past shoulder length) etc. Confidence has always been an issue.... just need to boost it I think....it didn't help I spent most of yesterday in scruffs and tried in vain to tong my hair which just wasn't working....
And souk hun thank you, I do need to learn to love myself and after thinking long and hard I figured out why I feel like this, its since coming out of the military where I was told what to do, what to wear and how to think, now I can finally be me....but the problem is I'm not sure who that is... But I'll get there, am in a slightly better frame of mind today, going to go shopping for some nice healthy food today so that the diet can start tomorrow.
Thanks again for taking the time to post it means a lot that i can come on here and talk about stuff...
much love

Quite right the lot of you!
Stand up straight and put a smile on your face for starters! Then do what you suggested, paint your nails, do your hair, do what ruby suggested and put your best togs on, then do as Souk suggested and have a think about what you *can* change. Feeling like you look old and frumpy is horridI'm am 100% sure NONE of us do! :j :j It's all about attitude... hope you're feeling a bit better this morning xxx

Hey chick, how are you? How the job going? Hope you are feeling better. I painted my nails and thought of you0

Hope you're feeling a bit better now. Think of all the things you've achieved this year- OU, new job, marriage. You've been very busy so it is no wonder that you've neglected your appearance at times. Don't beat yourself up about it- you have plenty of positive things you've achieved. We can't generally achieve everything we want all at once so be kind to yourself!
I'm sure you look a lot better for being happier!!2019 fashion on a ration 0/66 coupons0 -
