Oh Chicken leave - I love it ! So the chicken that wouldn't let the others in, is that the boss ? (note I resisted all pecking order references..)

I hope they are all settled, I will be waiting for news of the first egg :)

Which OU Course missy ? I'm attempting psycology at the moment which is interesting but not sure I'll take it any further.

Good luck with the diet :)

    Hi Missy,

Morning came too early (yawnnnn)... It's gonna be a long week :). Shouldn't have watched Sherlock last night (it was quite good, wasn't it), I could have slept an hour more this morning.

What's the MRI scan for? And well done for funding for OU, it can be quite expensive if you pay it on your own, I'm still thinking weather I should take the second modul on from January or wait till finish the next one. We get our result this week, I just really hope I passed.

What did you get on ebay? Anything exciting? Ok, better go and have a shower and get ready. Have a nice day!

Hey DC I think the one that was stopping the others getting in the house is definitely the boss.

They wont start laying for about 5 weeks I think, maybe they will lay a little egg on my birthday! That's in 5 weeks, oooh I do hope so.

I'm doing an english language and literature degree, in the hope I can be a teacher. Really need to put a lot more work into it though am doing the bare minimum and getting an average of 70%, so if I actually knuckled down and spend some time on it I could in theory get a really good mark!!! Grrrr!! I lack motivation though.

My MRI is for my back, they still don't know what I've done, the physio thinks I've slipped a disc but they are unsure.

You will have passed Kavics, you put in so much work.
Sherlock was ace I really enjoyed it!
I've bought all of my work clothes on ebay hun, have loads!!! I've got shirts and trousers and skirts and all sorts!

I have bought bits to work with me so that I can phone my insurance and post my DVLA letter off hopefully.

Hope you all have lovely days and I will update later.

    Hi ya

For some reason my last post that I wrote at about 10am has only just appeared, that will teach me for using the works computer!!

Anyway have had quite a productive day so far:
    I have:
    posted letter to DVLA
    Cancelled Insurance
    Cancelled O2
    changed Tarrif on Vodaphone
    been to the gym

    Which is a saving of £45 a month!!!!! :T:j
So not bad at all! :T

Just need to get my money saving head on and pay off my debt!!! Which is the real problem!

Have eaten reasonably healthily apart from the chocolate cake :obut someone had made it especially. But I did have a very tiny bit and I did go to the gym! Think I will have to have a salad for tea!!

Can't wait to get home have had enough of work!! Hope you're all having happy mondays xx

Ok chicken update, have come home and chucked some corn in and they seem happy enough, they make a little bit of noise though, I really hope the neighbours don't complain, it's not loud you can just hear them. Am a bit stressy about them to be honest. I want to put a run out for them in the garden, but the guy I got them from said I need to keep them in their house run for 2 weeks, then I can. But they haven't had their flight feathers clipped so they can fly all over the place!! I intend to shut them in properly tonight so I can clean the bottom of the run before they peck at me and before it gets too stinky!!!

Really should be getting on with stuff but am having too nice a time sitting in the sunshine! Really missing OH too the comms are bad which makes it hard for him to get on line or to phone and its snowing which just makes matters worse!! But nevermind atleast when he's next home I will be just starting my new job and have so much more time to spend with him.

Think a cup of tea is in order!! As always!

Trying to think of all the lovely things I can make with my eggs when they come, so far I've come up with:

    Mayonnaise
    Pasta
    Egg mayonnaise for sandwiches
    cake mixes
eggs for our weekend fry ups
    pancakes
    carbonara
    anything with breadcrumbs
    omlette
    pavlova and meringue
    quiche
    scotch eggs
    egg fried rice
    yorkshire pudding
    ham egg and chips

these are things i would actually use them for too which is pretty good, going to have to go and check if they have actually gone to bed in a minute!

    chicken update!!!

The chickens have put themselves to bed, yaaaay!! Massive achievment after the b*ggering about with them yesterday, and I could close the door which means I can clean them out properly tomorrow :T (by the way the clapping is for the chook chooks going to bed not the fact I can clean them out, I'm not looking forward to that, stinky things!:D

I should really go to sleep soon, although have done !!!!!! all since I've been in, apart from make myself a salad. Really need to sort my evenings out! Although I have pilates tomorrow night though, so that should be good and keep me busy. :D

oh and OH just managed to phone :j:T I do miss him when he's away and do love chatting to him, one phone call makes all the difference. :)

Morning!! Far too early to be up!
  • It is Missy Moo, far too early.
And I have allowed something terrible to happen, I have only one teabag ! I think this just proves how bad my housekeeping skills have got. It is a state of emergency.

The dog and I are off out to replenish stocks via corner shop.

Glad your chickens have decided to not to give you a hard time. Had visions of you following some sort of Supernanny bedtime routine :)
    Have a good day.
