well hve been over to my dads to get some bits done for them and am now back.

Feeling a little unsettled and unhappy, but I think it's because OH is away and he's missing out on a big family party tomorrow, and I know he'd love to be there and I get to spend the day being gooseberry, sometimes him working away really sucks.

Blimey this strikes a chord. I'm so glad I'm not the only one! I'm in a constant cycle of decluttering. I had a couple things I bought from Tesco that didn't fit that I'd been meaning to take back for ages. Finally got round to it and got an £8.50 refund for £22 worth of clothes. Oh well, at least I've got £8.50!

Sorry, you're feeling blue. Sounds like you need to spend some time with a good friend who can make you laugh!

Oh Missy, if you're going to be there for a while then you need to get some local mates to keep you up when your man is away. Hope you're okay and you've made a good start!

It amazes me the number of people who live somewhere where they don't have friends and good people around them. When I first moved here it took me years to establish supportive, fun, loving friendships. Now I think everyone should move to Brighton :) !!

Thank goodness for the internet eh ;) ?

It's taken me a couple of years to get a great circle up here, and I really worked at it. Hope all is okay with your back Missy X

  • Morning Missy et al
I had a conversation with Cheri, Poles and Moo2moo on her Cher's diary about friends.
I 'know' loads of people here in this town, went to school with most, but my true dearest friends are few and far between.
Thing is I'm very happy being alone, which is different to being lonely.

Hope the party and potato salad goes well (I absolutely adore potato salad, I don't mean like I mean adore !!!)

    Hi Missy,

Sorry I disappeared, the in-laws-to-be are still here and no chance of privacy.

Hope you're feeling better, I know how it is being without friends but with time you can build up a nice little circle around you, maybe someone who is nice at Pilates? And if you change your job, than you might find some other people around there. For me the gym made a huge difference, I've got many friends there and we are like a small little group waiting to chat to each other before and after classes. It's really nice and people are lovely.

Glad the sorting out works as well, I so need to declutter but no time and energy:). REceived my OU certificate yest, I'm so happy. How was MRI scan?
