Missy I'm proud of you, if you got over the 'OMG it looks worse' stage it means you are past the turning point ! That's where I can fail. I have been known to chuck it all back where it was !
Any more eggs ?DC.

Morning pippa and DC
Pippa it is bad when you actually want to declutter and you can't get any done, I'm a bit like that this weekend am running around doing stuff for other people and I would really rather be getting things sorted for me!
DC I know what you mean, the amount of times I have just shoved things back half sorted where they were to begin with because I haven't had time / cant be bothered to sort it!
No, no more eggs yet, just had to do a proper clean in their house this morning, my goodness chicken poo stinks....yuk
Right well I've promised to make potato salad for a party im going to tomorrow, so I'll do that now, and I've got to go over and set up later, to be honest all I want to do is go back to bed, am knackered!!! I think it is the week just catching up with me.
Going to try and do some more decluttering tonight, I just want it finished, I have to say it is really nice to wake up to a nice tidy uncluttered bedroom. I chucked even more clothes into the charity shop bag yesterday, was inspired and motivated by my sister, who never throws anything away usually and when I went to hers last night, she had chucked three bin liners of clothes out, I was amazed!!!!
Right.... Potato salad0 -
ah first cup of english breakfast tea drunk, second in the brewing, potatoes on to boil. Just realised I really need to pick the plums this weekend if I'm going to make jam!!! Hmmm best fit that in somewhere!!!!0

hey shoesy I wouldn't say motivated as such, I'd muuuuuuch rather be in bed, I guess things just need doing.
Going to go and scare the neighbours by going outside to pick he plums in my pink cup cake pyjamas and white and pink flowery welly boots. yaaaay!! I'm sure they love me really!!!

I honestly think there is some logic in quality sleep and suroundings. Doesn't even have to be feng shui. Just putting the ironing board away will do it for me.
Most of my junk is pure laziness, the things I need aren't in the place I need them, I just dump them en route. (See am quoting from Toothbrush principle book again).
See this declutter thing is more than catching, glad your sister is in on it too, charity shops must love it.DC.

They must do DC we're starting something here, charity shops will be over run!!!!
Makes me feel a little bit sick when I am throwing stuff out that still has the label on, or stuff I know I paid over the odds for on ebay that don't fit!0 -
But that should stop you making the same mistakes in the future Missy so see it as a good thing. I've been decluttering like a maniac and have made good profit on ebay this week too. Have a good day X'The road to a friends house is never long'0

Missy, you are allowed to make those mistakes with buying these things, like Souk says you won't do it again.
I have some Primark bargains from about 8 years ago in wardrobe, with tags. Just because it was a bargain at the time, but we are all forgiven for for past purchases from here on.DC.
