When can I cancel my contract, is it 1 months notice after 11 months?
I'm getting close to that point now.
Thanks
I cancelled my Orange contract at month 11. You need to port your number across to another network otherwise you have to write a letter.0 -
Been with orange for 7 years and, and upgraded again in May, my phone deteriorated and eventually went `caput` and wouldn`t recieve messages. Even though I didn`t have insurance they replaced it free of charge (after being on hold for 55 minutes).. then had to call again yesterday as the battery has a mind of its own and can`t decide if Its fully charged or not ! So they are replacing it again, free of charge, this time I was on hold for over an hour.
The waiting time is awful but in all fairness the service isn`t that bad !Debt Free Jan 2010!(Be happy) the state of your life is nothing more than the state of your mind! X:j0 -
You wont be happy if your phone developes a fault from December onwards.Orange will only replace your phone for free until it is 6 months old after that you have to pay or have insurance:)liz_uk wrote:Been with orange for 7 years and, and upgraded again in May, my phone deteriorated and eventually went `caput` and wouldn`t recieve messages. I have just taken out an 18 month contract with Orange.... I changed from Orange. My new D900 has been playing up. Giving it a day or so to see how it goes...but after waiting on hold last week for 30 minutes each on 3 seperate occasions, I figure its best to go in to the shop in town.
However, one thing I did find was that if you call about 7am you get through right away - their CS is open 24 hours, which is one good thing.
Lets hope the next 18 months run smoothly !!!0 -
Ive just joined Orange last month (formerly Vodafone) and im appalled at the customer service - or lack of it i should say!! Im currently queuing now on the free phone number noted above - so far its been 32 minutes!! last month i waited 70 minutes. If got another 18 months of this...... Is there anyway to get out of my contract??
