Plusnet Value, is it worth it?

I've been with them (or a company they bought) for years.
I recently got the £6.49 package for someone with the supplied wireless router and it has been fine as well.
It is only a package suitable for a light user (don't use iPlayer for TV for hours) but within these limitations it's OK.
The supplied router was the easiest internet install I've ever known as well.0 -

Thanks for that info! I won't be using it very much, just viewing bits on here and a few shopping websites, but it is good to know its free after midnight.
Although I won't be staying up just to use it then, but maybe early am I can.
I am pleased it was easy, as I said before I am useless with stuff like this, thats why I've never had it before! Thanks0 -
One last question...I promise! What is a wireless adaptor? Do I need one for a netbook? Thanks0

You shouldn't as the netbook should have wireless built in. Can you post the make/model? Have you not used the netbook to access the internet before?Dave. :wave:0 -

The dongle you used in Australia probably gave you direct internet access.
What you'll be doing at home now is using the Plusnet supplied router for internet access. You use the in-built wireless on the laptop to connect to the router, which in turn gives you access to the internet.Dave. :wave:0 -
